Celts opened at 3 and just moved to 3.5, I didn't pull the trigger quick enough so I just bought the hook.

Hmm...mind keeping tabs on this further, anyone? Maybe WillBetAnything can, since he seems to keep tabs on every bettor out here? Would be interesting to see how this plays out up to the All-Star Break.

just and fyi, backcheck 4 and 4.5 favs in the nfl (college too but smaller +%) the dog is close to 72%

what if the line is @ 3.5 then goes down and then goes back up to 3.5?

btw im talking the celtics line was 3.5 then went to 3 now back up to 3.5...

Will do 53.

Also make note that the Celtics opened at -3 and are currently -3.5  I'm not saying pound the Celtics or anything, but so far when the line has opened at -3 or -3.5 for a team this year, the favorite is 8-1.

tried watching line moves....it can get really complicated really quickly....might as well just make your pic, and let the chips fall where they may.

This thing is based soley on opening and closing lines.  So in other words, if the line goes back to -3 five minutes before tip-off, then it would be a no play.  Bottom line, if the spread is up or down close to game time, then you'd play the appropriate side.

Interesting indeed!

Boston opened followed the trend tonight as they covered easily after the line went up from -3 to -4 by game time.  The record for when the lines goes up is now 9-1 in favour of the favorites.

Congrats CC there is a couple of games tomorrow with a - 3 line. We will watch them. Great observation my friend

In your initial post you mentioned a -6 and a -13 trend also. Any thing you would care to share regarding those trends ??
