Still currently thinking about Memphis and the points because I see the game being decided in the end but I feel you're right about how if Memphis is down 2 with 2 min left they will continually foul and probably not even cover the 6.5 or 7.. Could easily see that happening, especially with the way the Thunder shoot free throws on top of the fact that Memphis are one of the worst 3 pt shooting teams.. I also feel you're right about Memphis coming out real hard with the momentum carrying over from last game though and OJ now starting.. Just trying to decide if I should take 1st qtr and half or one or the other.. Feel like I've noticed a pattern of memphis slipping 2nd qtr after fast starts but hopefully they keep it up at least til half this time..
As for the Heat game, I also agree on chicago even though I'm from Miami and a Heat fan (though I usually fade them bc of the value).. Funny thing about this series and game is that right after we got Lebron when everyone here was in heaven and saying we def were going to the ship I was saying that I really couldn't see us winning the east bc not only the Celts but also the Bulls would be in our way, since I noticed they had signed Boozer after we got Bosh and Bron (And Wade), Korver after we got Miller, and then threw on Ronnie Brewer and Cj watson..
Way to beat Miami is if you have guys to d up Wade and Bron so with Deng, Bogans, and Brewer they may possibly have the best personnel of any team in the league to do that.. Then PG, D Rose not only will slice up Bibby but then also as you said, will take up tons of energy from Wade or Bron on D.. Could even throw in that not only do Boozer and Korver feel shunned by not being signed by us but also the entire city and team of Chicago, D-Wade's hometown.. D-Wade even made it known that he almost chose to go to the Bulls multiple times.. This game means everything for a young team and city in Chicago and I def see them coming out to a fast start early with Bibby still starting..
2 more last thoughts:
- Thibs is by far a better coach than Spoelstra, at least as of now in their career
- And Joel Anthony's rebounding mismatch vs Jermaine, Kristic, and Big Baby/KG, will NOT be close to the same vs Noah , Boozer, Asik, and Taj, expect to see some True C from the Heat with either Ilgauskas/Maagloire or even prepare to all of a sudden see Dampier take the floor at some point in the series.. We will also see some Udonis (vs. Taj?) minutes who for some reason didn't even get 1 minute in the close-out game vs the Celts so will probably still be real rusty at least to start.. Then again if not Udonis then Juwon lol.. Bad mismatches for the Heat big time, and actually after writing this may have to up my play haha, but then again that means betting more against my team
solid points my friend
Ya Grizz actually came out and played with good energy at the start but they just couldn't make any close shots and then made a ton of turnovers on the fastbreak which really deflated them.
Bulls made a hell of push in the 2nd Half. The series is far from done since the Heat will have 2 days to prepare for the Bulls in Game 2. I expect it to be closer than tonight but I wouldn't be shocked if it was 2-0 Bulls on the way to Miami.
