I don't understand why people constantly look to bet the spot where the streak will end.  Bet with the streak and make the other team beat you.  Shit just doesn't make sense.  If a team is on a 10 game win streak, would you bet against them because "they are due for a loss?"  Hell no.  Not saying I'm going to play the Suns, I'm just saying.  Wait...what am I saying?

Wasn't everyone against the Lakers a week ago saying they can't cover worth shit. Now we have a line of 7.5 and everyone thinks the Lakers are going to cover against the hottest team in the league..

Exactly...I don't fucking get it either.  Aren't we dealing with one of the most public teams here vs. without a doubt the BEST team right now?  The Lakers - Pau Gasol = Don't give a flying fuck. 

Oooh but they're on back to back games!  Oooh but they're a "finesse" team!  They must be soooo tired from playing basketball two nights in a row!  Grant Hill and Steve Nash...they're like 100 years old combined!  Channing Frye...who the fuck is Channing Frye?  Alvin Gentry and defense?  Noooooo.....lmao.

I am from Phoenix and I can tell you the Suns are going to be up for this game. The Lakers owned the Suns the last 2 years and now that Phx is playing well they would love to get some revenge. Phx wasn't picked to do anything this year and this is a statement game for them. Can't really see fatigue playing a factor with them having that kind of motivation.

First I wouldnt touch the Lakers ever!!!  I dont care who there playing their an amazing team but bottom line is they dont cover, simply because their lazy.  They could play the nets and be -7 be up by 50 then duck off the rest of the game to win by 5 its the Lakers, they cover every blue moon!  After watching the Cavs I believe they needed this to game bad, it broke down this wall they had up.  You have  Wade and Lebron its going to be a competition, take the over!!!  Watch these "Free Agents" stunt for us.  Sounds funny but I see it.

I think there is a chance that phoenix will be a public dog today. A 7.5 public dog is something very rare and probably something you should not bet.

Typical letdown here for Cavs, and Heat are playing better defense than Cavs.

I hope public and some wiseguys move line in favor of Cavs to get a better line for Heat.

The Lakers play just well enough to win. Phil Jackson has more rings than fingers and sees the 82 game season as a warmup for the playoffs so there's no point in wearing down his players until the big games.

The Suns will be pumped and play like it's the 7th game of the Finals while the Lakers toy with them until the last two minutes and then WHAM! Another win but no cover.

Have to agree this line looks off...Even if the Suns are tired, 7.5 is plenty for a backdoor cover...

It's a NO PLAY for me but I would lean to the Suns

Creepa I have to disagree with you about it being totally irrelevant on b2b... take you team for and example look up their 2nd game on a b2b... let take the mav.. they played the spurs yesterday on a b2b without parker and duncan and they still lost... SO it is very relevant... The numbers dont lie....

How did this get into a Suns debate?  We are talking about the HEAT!
The Heat beat the Cavs at home last year.  Last night Mo Williams had an amazing night.  I doubt that will continue tonight because of the excellent coverage on the perimeter by the Heat.  With that, Shaq and the forwards will get more action down low.  The Cavs are dangerous when they have Mo Williams or any other player step up for the triple threat, Lebron and Shaq will have to do most of the work and that is not a good combo because the Heat will be firing on all cylinders.  If you saw Heat play the Wizards, they turned it up big in the second half.  It was a wake up call for their team that they can contain shooter when they want to.  Tonight is a Heat win.  I have the balls to take it.
One more point to note is that last night the Magic had a nice 4th quarter run, so did the knicks.  The Heat are a great 4th quarter team.  In fact, the Cavs have been outscored in the 4th in every road game except the crappy Timberwolves.  That could be huge tonight.

The Heat are nice in the 4th because D-Wade is as clutch as it gets.  When he is in the zone, no one can guard him.

The thing that have me worried about the Lakers is that their bench of scrus are awful.

And we witnessed the Suns' bench played quite well last night.
