Yeah, I learned my lesson from almost 20 years ago.  The league took a turn for the worse in the early 2000's when offshore/online gambling exploded.

Happens in every league im sure, but NBA it's probably the easiest. They have more of an individual control over outcome. Who knows how bad it really is. This is just the tip of the iceberg and ones that got caught. Atheletes are normal human beings too. They want to gamble. Bet big probably.  And knowbthey can control outcome.
