thegooseisout,memphis and denver have lost very important pieces,either coaches or players and are both vastly different entities to last year in most peoples eyes....and lakers are surprising yes,but classic case of heavily over-looked and disrespected side catching too many points early on and playing with heart for each other(who wuda thunk it from laker pretty boys??)...plus tou must see detroit cud be for real this season in terms of at least pushing hard 4 a playoff spot,which wud be a solid improvement on recent seasons,talented young frontline no doubt and an acceptable back-court in jennings,stuckey and billups.they'll surprise sum folks along the way

and yes, i got deep info on Det's value this season, very good and as big dogs are able to cover well and even win those games. Port also i think is completely undar the public radar and has a low market, but wow that team got more talent now and can score.

I had a lot of the dogs yesterday I loved the nets all day ML  just need to really look at the rosters looks like the underdogs and young teams are balling out 76ers getting +9.5 was the steal of the night a who are the wizards to give 10 pts to anybody

yep,mike tizzy..completely agree about portland they will have brilliant value in some spots particularly as dogs.very solid starting lineup of better than average nba talent wen all healthy...aldridge,batum,lillard,matthews and they have addressed their deficincies on the bench sumwat also,which was one of the worst in nba history last year........horrible showing from them in the 1st game but i think the win over denver is more reflective of their ability for sure.small market team without much fanfare will be overlooked a lot.

and always loving pistons catching points at the moment,shud compete well even against elite teams after years of mediocrity

Thanks. I did think Denver's mile high home advantage was more durable, but things change. Too bad because they were last year.

yea for sure thegooseisout,best just to observe denver at the moment,cud possibly be a huge step back for them this year....dumped the coach,changes in management,ditched an all-star in iguodala and no gallinari rite now.....place is a mess,its not even safe to back them at home.plus new coach shaw actually has them playing slower,which takes away their biggest advantage as they dont have players that can create and get their own shots if forced to play in half-court sets all nite.no-go zone for me till i can get a better handle on their true position in the west
