ESPN News is on a lot at my place (muted of course).

I watch maybe 90% of the games on ESPN / ABC (again muted).

So when was the last time I wanted to hear the worldwide leader's take on the NBA?

nice write-up...this line opened at 3.5 and has moved down to -1.5....this really is the make or break game of the series....the books need orlando BIG TIME tonight....i'm liking orlando also because thats just the way it is....i'm also hoping this can be at 2-2 and make it a great series which it deserves to be.

I think it's a very risky proposition betting on the Lakers to lose back-to-back games in the playoffs (which has not happened once this entire playoffs), but, either way...GL on your play tonight buddy!

Everyone forgets last year's press conferences.  Kobe was laughing and joking about missing bunnies. 04 Finals press conferences same thing.  It's only this year he's taking much more seriously and considering he lost last year's title it's not that surprising.

Personally I think the media demonizes Kobe and his "selfishness".  If Kobe were that bad, LeBron, D-Howard, and Melo wouldn't have returned from the Olympics w/ IMMENSELY more respect for Kobe and his work ethic.  All of them commented on how they've treated the game differently after hanging out w/ him.

You either love the Lakers or hate 'em. Growing up w/ Showtime w/ Magic during my youth and it doesn't really matter who suits up, I still love the Forum Blue and Gold.  I think Kobe's alright. Not perfect, but not as bad as the media claims. 

If you want a "selfish" basketball player who's adored by fans, look no further than Shaq. The guy disrespects his owner by yelling "Pay Me" while the boss is sitting in the stands during a pre-season game.  The whole "injury on company time, so recovering on company time".  But no one seems to dislike him b/c he's much better at manipulating the media. 

Doesn't matter. If he were a Laker again, I'd still root for him.

Man, one hour away from tip-off.  Getting nervous...

This is what concerns me as well. VFR has been money so far in the nba finals but it seems everytime the lakers lose, they have a
ferocious come back game to follow.

Value4Rent, Great writeup were on the same side ORL-1.5. Don't be fooled by the point spread Orl -1.5 and this is the reason why public is on Lakers. This will be a blowout for Orlando and will roll my winnings to Lakers on game 5.

I don't cheer for the Clippers, that was a joke.  I kept that avatar up because it seemed to be fairly lucky  I only liked them for a little while because I hit them as big dogs on a few occasions such as against the Celtics.  Other than that though they're intolerable.

The league would be a much better/bettor place if everyone had Kobe's work ethic.
However, I am completely baffled as to how someone could think the media's portrayal of Kobe isn't overwhelmingly positive.
