Max one play per day rule is still in effect.
Feb 11th Cut to Top 40 players and ties based upon winning % (must have a minimum of 18 plays to qualify). Most have 3-6 plays so far, that leaves 19 days to complete the 18 minimum by the last game on Feb 11. I opted to to go with a minimum of 18 instead of 20 b/c if the possible Champion joins us today I'd like him/her to be able to make the minimum plays, they'd have to get on their horse and make 18 plays in 19 days but that's the pressure of making the cut. For the folks on here with 4-6 plays already that gives them a chance to not force a play and take a few days off.
March 17th Cut to Top 25 players and ties based upon winning % (must have a cumulative 40 plays to qualify). St. Patty's Day last game of the night is the cut.
Thanks to the more than 90 players that are participating. It sucks to cut more than half in 3 weeks but record keeping for 100 players is a lot and it is a contest to identify 1 Champion. I'd hope that those that don't make the cut see the value in the Contest and stick around to tail the hot hands as that's the goal: everyone can make money regardless of how you are running.
