i'm not going to start a new thread for every sport i bet on as i just want to track what i do so tonight:


76ers -1     1.5 units to win 1.36

reasoning: they are the better team..i'm not letting that 1-10 away record get to me as most of the teams (if not all) in my opinion are better than the nets.

teams that contributed to their 10 losses include: wasx2, mia, atl, okl, dal, indy, nyk, sa...

they are on a streak right now winning 3 of past 4 and 5 of past 7..so hopefully the train doesn't stop tonight.

might have another play based on how this one goes..

...special thanks to spencer hawes in that game...totally killed any momentum the nets tried to build...and to iguodala/meeks for hitting clutch fts in the end!

alright on to the late game, my pick..

timberwolves +3     .86 units to win .78

reasoning: well for an obvious 1, there is no curry. He is a 'leader' on this team, someone they can look towards when they need a basket so as everybody already knows its huge not to have him play. Regarding their last game that these two played, the wolves shot like crap (39.5%) while the warriors shot amazing (50.6% 12-17 from 3 point land! Those numbers alone have blowout written all over it, but it resulted in only a 10 point loss. The difference? Free throws. And I don't think that changes tonight..Minny shoots well (~76% on the year from the line) and both teams are hungry for a win.

Minny has played well in the first half of their 10 recent losses (excluding the game at chicago) but can keep up in the 2nd. In the end though, I think the 3 points are enough, and a straight up win is also likely.

nfl pick tonight..not going to bother starting a new thread..most of us bet on all sports anyways..

chargers -10     2 units to win 2 units

reasoning: do both teams have a shot at playoffs? yes. considering the division and remaining games, who is this game more important to? both. are the chargers the better team? yes. is it december for rivers? i think so. if sd loses and kc beats stl...chargers know they are in some deep ish. same thing with sf but i'm rolling with the better squad.
