Bulls -10
Have not looked into the games yet except for this one. Posting this “tentative lean” for now- not sure I’m going to play this but I would take a look at this before you go tuck in your Cavaliers play.
I know everyone’s expecting a massive letdown from the Bulls but let’s take a look at how they’ve done after a huge win this season.
W @ORL 89-81- Next Game W @MIA 87-86 SU as +5 dogs
W @MIA 87-86- Next Game b2b W vs. NO 85-77 (couldn’t cover 11 w/o Paul but that line was way inflated and Hornets are a good team)
W vs. ATL 94-76 (Revenge)- Next Gameb2b W vs. UTA 118-100 (Covered DD spread)
W vs. MIA 93-89- Next Game W @MIL 83-75 (Covered -3)
W @UTA 91-86 (Boozer back to UTA)- Next Game W @NO 97-89 (Covered -3)
W vs. ORL 99-90- Next Game b2b W 110-89 vs IND (Covered -8)
W vs. DAL 82-77- Next Game W 92-79 vs CLE (Couldn’t cover 15.5 but that’s a high number and this team is now much better than they were at this time in the season)
W vs. MIA 99-96- Next Game W 96-84 @MEM (Won SU as +1 dogs)
W vs. BOS 90-79- Next Game W 95-82 vs. DET (Covered -9.5)
W vs. LAL 88-84- Next Game b2b W 113-82 vs. MIN (Covered -11)
W vs. OKC 99-90- Next Game W 85-80 @CLE (Pushed -5)
W vs. DEN 94-92- Next Game W 120-90 vs. GS (Covered -3)
W @ DAL 88-83- Next Game L 98-91 @LAL (Covered +8)
The Bulls obviously don’t suffer from let-downs.
None of the Bulls played more than 40 minutes so they shouldn’t be too fatigued. Being on a b2b I don’t think they’ll come out flat in this one, as they got on the plane to Cleveland immediately after the game and wouldn’t have had time to kick back completely relax and celebrate.
"We never look at their record. Cleveland is playing some good basketball," said Deng, who scored 23 points against the Celtics.
"...(Thursday) was a big game, we know that, but our mentality gotta be the next game. We walk out of this locker room, get on a plane, our mindset gotta be right, we can't take any team light."
The Bulls can clinch 1st seed with either a win or a loss by the Celtics. Knowing this team they will want to put forth a good effort and demolish the Cavs to put a punctuation mark on clinching the division. The Cavs do well against the Knicks and Heat because those teams weren’t playing defense. The Cavs beat the Bobcats but the Cats were completely depleted and they beat the Raptors…well they are the Raptors. None of those teams play the physical, bruising defense of the Bulls. Hickson will have an awful time scoring and Rose will dominate Davis. I think they will dominate the Cavs in this one. I don’t think they’ll slip up to start their 3-game road trip after mediocre performances against the Suns, Raptors, Pistons, and Sixers last week. IMO the Cavs are more due for a letdown after their two wins against mediocre competition.
The Bulls haven’t completely blown out the Cavs (0-3 ATS) so they might be determined to do so tomorrow. Want to see the percentages of the public on this play tomorrow before making this a play.
At first glance I am really liking the Clips as well.

Official Plays:
Play 1:
Heat -14 (-110) to win 5 units (ONLY IF WADE PLAYS)
PLUS 14 HOLY SHIT THAT’S A LOT OF POINTS!!!! Wow 65% of the public are gobbling up on this easy gift. But is this really an easy gift? The Miami Heat are battling for 2nd spot in the East and believe me they want it more than the Celts. Inside they know they don’t have much of a chance at all of advancing past the 2nd round without home court and with a win tonight and a win on Sunday they can pretty much seal the 2nd seed. The Heat are coming off of a bad lazy loss to the Bucks. They will not look past the Bobcats because of that and they know that they need this win. Let’s look at the past 3 matchups with the Bobcats this year 109-97, 96-82, and 95-87 all wins by the Heat by relatively large margins. Now consider that those margins were still large despite the Bobcats having Gerald Wallace, S-Jax, Najera, Livingston, and Tyrus Thomas in the lineup. How on Earth can the Bobcats stay within 14 without S-Jax, Najera, Livingston, and Tyrus Thomas in the lineup. Bosh and Anthony will shut down Diaw. Brown will have a tough time scoring and the Heat will contain Henderson and Augustin enough to limit the Bobcats on offense. The line reversed to points from -12 to -14 which is always a good sign when that happens against a public dog. Even with all of these injuries the Bobcats have been fighting hard. However they officially got eliminated from the playoffs and are coming off of an emotional loss with their depleted roster where they had a win against the Magic only to lose in OT. The starters all played over 40 minutes and I think the Bobcats will be depressed and come out flat and tired for this one.
"It's difficult to take because we wanted to be (in the playoffs)," Silas said. "We didn't make it.”
“Charlotte has lost 14 of 20 to slip out of playoff contention after making the postseason in 2009-10 for the first time in franchise history.”
"It's tough, man," Augustin said. "We've been thinking about the playoffs since we started the season."
The key to whether this play is getting locked in is the status of Dwayne Wade. He went through shoot-around and is probable to play. If Wade is in I expect a focused effort from the Heat and blowout to feed off his energy.
Play 2:
Clippers +9 (-110) to win 5 units
The Mavericks are on a 4-game losing streak and are having trouble winning ball games and playing high quality ball. The Clippers have covered 3 in a row beating Memphis and losing only by 4 points to a high quality Thunder team. The Clippers have another game on the road tomorrow so I don’t think they are going to mail it in tonight. They are on triple-revenge and lost last week to the Mavs in LA in a game where they could have easily won after their 1st Half start. The Clippers match up well with the Mavs with their size downlow and have the guards to hang with Terry and Co. Kidd might not play and while Chandler is playing he might be a bit rusty. I think the Clippers can stay in this game.

Play 3:
Hornets -5 (-112) to win 5 units
I told the guys that we have more work to do, so don't exhale," coach Monty Williams said. "If you're satisfied with this, you're setting yourself up for failure, big-time."
"This team fought all year," guard Chris Paul said. "It's been a long time coming. Our coaches come in every day and believe in us and work hard for us. We have a lot of resilience and we never give up.
"It's a good feeling to know that we're in, but now it's about staying there. You hear people say it all the time -- you never want to back into the playoffs. We want to go full-steam ahead so we've got to keep building so when we get to the playoffs, there's no questions about what we're going to do."
The Hornets are ending a 4-game home stand and will want to finish strong. I expect a better performance out of them to start the game after getting down early to start the Rockets game. The Suns are not playing defense and will have a tough time staying close this game and competing with a very physical and defensive Hornets team. It’s never fun to play a team like the Hornets when you are not emotionally into the game. The Hornets don’t seem satisfied with just making the playoffs and I think they’ll want the 6th seed to avoid the Lakers in the 1st round. The Hornets have done well against the Suns and I think Okafor and Landry will dominate the glass in this one.

I think Dallas covers tonight. I look at -10 and it looks too easy to take LAC. But now the line has fallen to -8.5. Eh what do I know.

what u think on the ny game
No interest. With Amare out the Knicks will have an awful time with Lopez as he has played well against the Knicks in their 3 previous games. Can’t back the Nets either with DWill and Hump out. Pass on this one. GL with whatever you decide.

Clippers blowing the spread was icing on the cake- Heat blew it cause Temple turned into Reggie Miller in the 4th and Astros bullpen can fuck off as well
1-5 today sorry for the shitty cards folks.
