Because I've seen friends I care about bury themselves this way and sammy's sideshow reminds me of them (although I'm not concerned for sammy, really, because I don't believe he's risking any serious money, if any at all).

In time my legacy will shine brighter than a four leaf clover brother! I will not make mention of this game until the final horn sounds, I will be at peace, but knowing full wheel what the stakes are for me as a man.I made this bet because I think the team I played will flat out win, and if they don't win, they better cover the spread. After tonight I will go back to my standard 10 unit play, but I woke up this morning feeling unfulfilled and sadly it struck me, MAKE THIS BET.I will watch this game, and in the end, I feel everything will be alright! The Utah Jazz will finally know whats it like to lose at home, when Sammy has the other side,

After reading the thread there is one thing that I did not see that makes the play better if that is possible.  Its no secret that a lot of you guys don't like this guy for various reasons.  These old scores are all fine and dandy and it might be fun to stick it to him after a bad beat, but I have yet to see someone credible man up and take Utah for a large play like Jumpball did yesterday with the Orlando Magic.   IMHO BOL

Tonite I keep my  mouth shut! Until after the game, I learned my lesson with jinxes and karma and over confidence less than 3 hours till the biggest bet of my life only thing that can make me feel comforted is if my friend the pizza maker would please come by and wish me luck! if your out there Bryce stop on by, ok I am off til after the game see you all around 11:45pm. To either celebrate or resuscitate.

GL Sammy...i hope you are not tilting...if i were you, i'd save those units and bet bigger on a more clear cut game. Just because a game is close, doesn't mean you have to Cap it. Win or Lose, you don't have anything to prove...it's just that you're risking a lot on a 50/50 proposition that can go either way...i'd put more units on a skewed game, where there is some clear cut advantage, aka 65/35 or 70/30...

I've probably not been at this as long as you have....but i'd feel pretty bad for you if ATL lost.

I hope your gut won't fail you in this situation.

On a lighter note, if you do cover, send me a pizza! haha
