Did something real stupid last night, I chased for the first time this season. Only because I was certain that Dallas would not win. Little did I know that they would have an amazing 4th qtr and covered. That would have given me a 2-2 night and I would have taken it. Instead I stupidly chased on ATL ML. Granted I got lucky and won but it's a bad idea to chase on a game you are not sure of, especially an ml bet. But hey, that is why they call it gambling. Onto todays slate, best of luck gents.
WASHINGTON WIZARDS ML - - - The Wizards are a better team then the Heat. Period. End of writeup...well no but that is enough. Both teams are in the same situational spot, off a back to back and in my opinion the Wiz roster is more capable of succeeding in a back to back then the Heat. For one the depth of the Wiz is greater then the Heat. Heat don't have the luxury of having guys like Randy Foye, Andre Blatche and Nick Young coming off the bench. Nick is in Flip's doghouse right not but he is too talented to be in there for long. Mike Miller is really defending and rebounding the ball a lot more then I thought. He needs more shots though. Gilbert looks proper, poised and on a mission. He seems to look more comfortable every game, it's only a matter of time before Hibachi heats up and lights a team up for 40+. Haywood is playing great and I just don't see how the Wiz will drop this one at home. So far this season the Wiz have lost to who they should loose to and won against teams they should have beaten. Simply put they are better then the Heat is every aspect and should have no problem winning this game su at home.

BOSTON CELTICS - 10 (-110) - - - Wow are the green men for real or what. They are just dominating NBA rosters right now. Very similar to how they started 2 years ago. The key right now to Boston's success is not only their cut-throat defense but their much improved offense. The 3 ball is becoming a key asset to their offense now, hitting 14 against Philly lighting it up from downtown. Sheed, Ray Ray, Truth, House, Daniels and even Hudson are all capable of knocking down the long-ball. The success Shelden Williams is having off the bench amazes me. It's like whatever big man plays next to KG just instantly becomes better. He and Doc Rivers made Big Baby and Perkins and they are molding yet another big man. Minny is very scrappy and have some young, solid talent. But Boston's big men played limited minutes in the Philly blowout and I see KG havin a big game back in Minny. Boston's defense will be too much for Minny to handle tonight.

NEW ORLEANS HORNETS ML - - - Most def my situational game of the year thus far. You all know I hate the Hornets, but this situational spot is just way to good to pass up. Hornets off a bad road performance, Dallas on a high after a comeback and prior to that they were successful in LA. Combined with a back to back flight to New Orleans equals trouble for the Mavs. I am just hoping that due to the Hornets recent tribulations we may get a very generous line here. Last March, Dallas mirrored this position. After a game in Texas the played Orleans on a back to back and got smoked. Granted teams have changed since then but I do suspect CP3 and company to get it done tonight. Look for West and Okafor to have solid games. Posey & Peja have gotta contribute and as long as Julian Wright, Hilton and Mo Pete play decent, this Orleans team should have a SU win at home vs the Mavs.

I may decide to play more, I like the late games at 10 and 10:30, may be back for some plays depending on the results of above games. Wishing you all the best of luck, peace out - - - MAK

GL Mak! Had Dallas last night with Denver and Boston in a parlay and straight up. I turned the game on and they were down 15. I changed the channel and turned it back on and they were down 8. I decided to watch my money get pissed away and boy was I surprised. Shit like that just doesn't happen very often. Dirk was amazing! Gotta love the NBA
