Another mediocre night on Wednesday going 2-2. Chased with ATL again, they are my official chase team. Despite the past few days being average and despite it being dreaded TNT Thursday, I actually feel very confident in the two picks below. Hoping it is a flawless night. Best of luck gents.
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS - 11 (-110) - - - I am officially sold again on the Cavs. After watching the last 3 quarters of the game vs Washington it is clearly obvious that the Cavs are still one of the best teams in the NBA. Washington played near perfect yet could not contend with the various weapons of the Cavs. I never realized what a huge difference Dalonte West makes on the Cavs. He can shoot the rock and handle as well, you see him playing a lot of point once Mo Will is out. He is also able to free up the sideline for Lebron with his penetration. He is a very underrated player. Along with Mo Will and Anthony Parker they should out-duel the backcourt of Rose, Salmons and Hinrich tonight. Speaking of Paker he is finally getting his groove with this team and hitting his spots. Watched him for 2 years with Toronto and once this guy get used to the system he is gonna be large for the Cavs. Shaq, Big Z and Varajao and just 3 big men who dominate and clog the lane. Tonight as long as Boobie Gibson and Jamario Moon give coach Brown some decent minutes, the above aforementioned should get the job done as the Cavs beat the Bulls by 15+.

SAN ANTONIO SPURS - 2 (-110) - - - Took a while to cap this game, gut said the Jazz would pull out a victory but all intelligent trends, stats and capping say the Spurs will knock em off. The Spurs are a very very well rested bunch. Have not played since Halloween, the Spurs have historically been an amazing team off 3 or more days rest. Jazz on the other hand will be playing their 3rd in 4 nights with some hefty travel. At this time the swagger of the Jazz men is at an all time low. This is just not the same team right now. No Harpring, Korver, C.J Miles and they are intricate to the success of the Jazz. You might as well count Boozer injured because this is not the same 20/10 guy. 2 rebounds??? 2 fuckin rebounds all game against Dallas? Are you kidding me? I remember when Booz would pull down 15 - 19 rebounds on a 7ft center easily. It was because of his girth and leaping ability. After the injury he looks like he has dropped a significant amount of muscle and has no hops whatsoever. With Milsap continuing to struggle this year the Jazz are in trouble. Tony Parker has always outplayed D Will. Blair is an amazing rookie and rebounds the ball like a vet. Antonio Mcdyess may be back for this game. I still think San An is the deepest 12 man roster in basketball. They will be successful on the road and at home, just not back to backs :) Spurs take this cover.

Well, that's why they are 11 point favorites against a scrappy team. I think the Cavs were exposed as a thin, one-dimensional team in last year's playoffs, and nothing has changed.
Take the Bulls plus the points.

great write-ups man, like the cavs a lot. think they are due for a cover as well.
hesitant to bet against the jazz...they played a great game at dallas a few days ago and fell apart in the 4th. if they come out like that again, i think they'll stay on top and play a much better 4th at home.
but i don't see how boozer can answer duncan/blair.
