Thanks for the congrats on last night and the well wishes for tonight, really appreciate it guys. Got two prop plays tonight. Both include showtime. Best of luck fellas.
KOBE BRYANT OVER 26.5 POINTS (-130) - - - This is a guy who went to the line 27 times in the first two games then laid a goose egg in attempts from the stripe in game 3. Really made no sense why he didn't attach at all. Sometimes I think Kobe has injuries that he sustains and keeps it to himself and the training staff. I am hoping I am wrong because tonight I expect him to take it hard to the hole rather then shoot almost 30 shots. He has taken 57 shots in two games which is just crazy. At least in game two when he took 28 shots he also attacked the rim with malice and got to the charity stripe 15 times nailing 13. I suspect him to get about 11-15 attempts at the line tonight nailing most of them. That would mean he would just need to hit a handful of baskets to top the 27 mark in points. I suspect a big game from Mamba tonight. 2 UNITS KOBE "NOT GUILTY" BRYANT - - -
PAU GASOL OVER 17.5 POINTS (-120) - - - In his last 9 games Pau has averaged almost 24 points a game. In fact in those nine games only once has Pau scored less then 18 points and that was in game 3 where he had 17. He only got to the line 4 times the entire game. He also distributed the ball more then usual with 6 assists. I do suspect him to be a bit more selfish and much more aggressive when he gets the ball. Jeff Green cannot handle him down low, why they do not start off by pounding the ball down low to Pau to start games is beyond me. Maybe the Zen Master will implement that strategy tonight. I suspect Kobe, Pau and Bynum to do most of the scoring for showtime tonight as Gasol should score over 20+.

Got absolutely bitch slapped light night, I guess a lot got smoked by the books due to their confidence in the champs. Lakers played an outright horrible game from start to finish. I am not sure I still hold the confidence in this team as many of you still do after that game. I don't think the Lakers will have as easy a task at home as many of you think.
As for the Cats they had that game in their grasp but shot 3 pointers when Howard fouled out which made no sense to me. They should have attacked and taken it strong but instead opted to try 3 after 3 after 3. Ridiculous beat, series is now over because of those poor final decisions. Very disappointed in the Cats.
I did however take Portland +1.5 In-Play once I found out that Roy, Webster and Rudy would come off the bench. Liked Bayless in the starting 5 and it paid off. Unfortunately I also took the Cats ML In-Play for the same amount therefore those two un-posted plays mean nothing and I will not include them in the nightly recap. Done capping Sunday's plays and will post shortly. Hope some of you had a better night then I did.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS - 4 (-120) - - - I really do not see the Cavs pulling a Lakeshow and allowing the Bulls to tie up the series. I just do not see it at all. Many of you saw the way the Cavs turned it on late and easily depleted the Bulls lead. The way they cut into that deficit makes me think they will play primed, poised ball from start to finish tonight. They made it look easy. Lebron James was quoted as saying they came out flat and lacked intensity to start the game, that will not be the case tonight. I suspect King and co. to come out very strong and not allow the Bulls to gain any sort of momentum. The Cavs underestimated Kirk Hinrich and did not implement him in their game plan whatsoever. He made them pay with an outstanding shooting night. But the fact remains that all the Bulls shot the ball relatively well. Some were contested but others were not. They hit shots they just could not hit in games 1 and 2. The guard play of the Bulls was outstanding with Rose and Kirk but Mike Brown and the Cavs know that will be their main focus in game 4. They said they will make the necessary adjustments. The main focus after game 3 was to offset the Bulls ability to grab offensive rebounds and they did that. Tonight they have the mindset to contain the Bulls guard play, start off strong and play better defense. I think they do all 3 tonight. Verajao played limited minutes due to foul trouble, he is an impact player off the bench and very important to the success of the Cavs defense. Believe it or not, tonight my X-Factor is the Big Aristotle. I really think Shaq has his best game of the playoffs thus far, I am suspecting around 15 and 8 with a few blocks which will be exactly the added production the Cavs need. Look for Lebron to play a little more on Rose if he gets hot. I love that matchup and would be exited to see it a bit more. Another important aspect, I do believe the Cavs are going to watch the Celts sweep the Heat in game 4 earlier. Added motivation for the Cavs not to allow the Bulls back into the series. They do not want to face a rested Celts team while they battle out the Bulls in 6 or 7. I am certain the Cavs come out strong and finish the Bulls tonight in near flawless fashion. 5 UNITS SHAQUILLE "BABY FACE" O'NEAL - - -
CLEVELAND CAVALIERS MONEYLINE (-245) 5 UNITS - - - ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAN ANTONIO SPURS ML (-135) - - - I really think Dallas is a bit lost right now. Rick Charlisle is a coach I have always admired, but I don't think he has any idea what to do with the talent surrounding him. He has basically made Shaw Marion a completely un production non-asset in this series. Matrix just does not seem to fit in the offensive scheme whatsoever and he is non-existent when I cap these games. Caron Butler was pulled and benched the entire 2nd half. Either that influences him to produce tonight or coach will have a quick trigger to pull him again. Going small did not work and is not a good idea against the Spurs. J.J Barea will see less time today and they should go back to playing big according the the Mavs. Nevertheless, I don't think it will make a lick of difference. The Spurs really look very sharp and Pop finally has a steady, stellar rotation set. I love the 6 man rotation. Hill, Manu, RJ, Timmy and Mac with Tony off the bench. Bonner and Blair fill in a few minutes per game but a majority of the playing time goes to the superb six. Having a champion and a leader like Tony Parker coming off the bench is an advantage no one has in the NBA. The Spurs have killed the Mavs in points in the paint in the first 3 games. I think they continue to pound it down low and take it aggressively to the hole. Timmy has played out of his mind and I really don't see him stopping his stellar play anytime soon. Taking a 3-1 series lead is imperative to the Spurs here. They have been simply impeccable at home this season and I do not see them dropping any home games in this series. Spurs will advance and exact revenge on this Dallas team. 5 UNITS DEJUAN "MOST REB PER MINUTE" BLAIR - - - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOSTON CELTICS + 1.5 (-110) - - - The Celts know they are a bunch of moldy old men. You all know that as well. I don't think there is any more need for motivation to end this series early and get the much needed rest they want and deserve. In game 3 I really do not think the Heat could have played much better. Wade was excellent except from beyond the arc. That has never been his M.O so I doubt he improves on that tonight. The key was the Heat bench. They played immaculate offensively in my opinion, yet the Heat still could not pull off a victory. A buzzer beater in game 3 of a playoff series while the team is already down 2-0 will completely deflate the motivation of any NBA team. Especially a team who has a star player who knows he does not have enough aroudn him and knows he deserved a better shot. J.O flopped in the playoffs after wanting to get back there for so long. Heat have no real point guard and Beasley is just not going to become that lottery pick that everyone thought he was. This team is in a sad state and no amount of motivational speeches by coaches or teammates are going to encourage them. 3-0 means it is over, they know it. Why bother. Celts take out the broom and sweep the heat into oblivion. 2 UNITS PAUL "STILL THE TRUTH" PIERCE - - -

SHAQUILLE O'NEAL OVER 8.5 POINTS (-120) - - - Lebron
James was very subtle in his approach to call Shaq out. He stated that
Shaq has to provide more, he also stated the team knows it but so does
Shaq. He also buttered it up a little by saying even the best player
in the game takes some time to re-adjust after a long layoff. Take a
look at the stats Shaq was putting up prior to his injury. He was
playing very well. He was scoring with ease. This number is very
low. I think Shaq gets to double digits early in this game. He will
be a factor tonight I am sure of it. Shaq is back...Kazaam! 3 UNITS - - -
TIM DUNCAN OVER 20.5 POINTS - - -
Timmy is playing phenomenal basketball right now. Reminds me of the
days he led the Spurs to countless championships. He is playing with
the same level of confidence he did when the Spurs were a dynasty. He
has played Dallas 5 times this season. 3 games in the playoffs and 2
during the regular season. He has not once scored below this number.
He had 22 points and 14 boards and 31 points and 12 boards against them
in the regular season. We all know what he has done in the post season
against them. Averaging almost 26 a game and doing it with ease. Tim
Duncan is a tower of power, a hall of famer and will lead his team past
the Mavs with his offensive production. Tim Duncan goes for 25+ once
more. 2 UNITS - - -

LBJ can't be stopped and will get a triple-double. Cavs should ease off the 3 point shot and will most def get cut that rebounding deficit. Cavs will win the 2nd half. CARMELO ANTHONY OVER 29.5 POINTS (-120) - - - I am sure that Mello saw the performances that Dwayne Wade and Lebron James just had. If you don't think NBA players watch and know this, you are wrong. Mello saw the excellence of execution by these two superstars. He will be even more poised to put on a show in Salt Lake City tonight. There are not many in this league who can guard him, and not any on Utah. Mello only went to the stripe 3 times last game. Instead of blaming the refs, he took a softer approach and told media it was unacceptable. It is a large part of his game to get the the FT line. I think he will constantly attack tonight and due to his mature comments and aggressiveness tonight, the refs should reward him with numerous trips to the charity line. Mello goes off for 35+ tonight.

PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS +8 (-120) - - - After PHX bitch-slapped the Blazers in games 2 and 3 by 19 points this series really seemed over in many minds. I really didn't see it as one-sided as many did. PHX got lucky in many ways as J-Rich just went off performing like a superstar. Jason is not a superstar. He got the looks and hit the threes which do not always go down for him. Portland did not play their game and it showed as they were dominated in ever angle. Blazers needed something, and they got it with the return of their star Brandon Roy. He came off the bench and Rip City played the theme to the Rocky song. Priceless. This kid has balls of steel. This kid had arthroscopic knee surgery and decides to come back after 8 days...call him stupid or a true baller. Your choice. All I know is his presence is felt when he is on the floor. If he makes shots or not is really irrelevant. When a superstar caliber player is on the floor it creates opportunities for other players. The defense opens up more then you can imagine. Ask Aldridge who couldn't ball for shit without Roy. Struggles is an understatement, Big L was just not there at all in the first 3 games. Roy comes back and the guy explodes. Aldridge was quotes as saying that as soon as Roy checked into the game he got his first open shot of the series, he thanked god that he was back. Roy also hit a big three with 5 mins remaining and looked to be more in the flow as the game progressed. Pace most def makes the race when it comes to this series. In both Blazer wins they allowed the Suns to only 4 fast break points. The Suns had 28 fast break points in their two wins this series. Portland knows what they have to do. Transition defense will be the key tonight. I hope Roy comes off the bench again because I like Bayless in the starting 5. It allows a nice triple-threat of offense off the bench in Roy, Rudy and Webster. My X-Factor Batum is back and played mass minutes in game 4, he should be just fine tonight. This is as pivotal a game as it gets. In game 5 of NBA playoff games, in a series tied at 2. The team that wins game 5 goes on the win the series 83% of the time. This is not just a must win for PHX. The Portland Trail-Blazers are 10-3 as a playoff underdogs, I will gladly take the 8 points here as I do not think PHX runs away with this game. Portland scraps all game long. 6 UNITS BRANDON "KNEE NO TOY" ROY - - - --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOBCATS + 5 (-120) 1 UNIT

Don't count these teams of this tonight's game. These are two teams that are excellent at home. Cats are still 31-11 at home and had game 3 under their belt. Got Dwight out and opted to shoot threes time and time again. Poor decision making cost them the game. This is an organization that has waited 6 years to get into the playoffs. They know they are not going to pull out a Boston Red Sox on the Magic but they do want their first playoff victory, I think they have a lot of players with immense pride and they will get it done tonight. The Atlanta Hawks are not the same team on the road as they are at home. The Bucks are a home powerhouse and have proved it this season with one of the best home records in the NBA. The Hawks are a miserable 19-21, 16-25 and 12-29 away from home the past 3 seasons. This is a team with a very similar if not exact lineup the past 3 years. They have dropped 9 of their last 10 playoff road games which is just ridiculous for a team that is considered with the pinnacle of the east. Bucks don't have a single star on their team, Hawks arguably have 3 all-stars (Smooth, JJ and Big Al) and 3 excellent scorers (Marvin, Mike and JC) yet the Bucks dismantled them in game 3 with solid defense, grit and guts. All season we have doubted the Bucks resilience. I for one am done doubting them. Bucks make this an interesting series. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAK'S TEASERS + PROPS

Do you know what I saw in the previous Charlotte game? I saw how dumb their players are, they get Howard out of the game and decide to abandon the paint and throw up contested 3's. The Beast can't do it all. Charlotte was great in the regular season at home but this is the playoffs, and this looks like the only sweep of the first round......................
With all the talk about how Atlanta can't play on the road I think they come out fired up in this one. Too much talent will bury the Bucks tonight. Atlanta doesn't want this one to get tied up
