All this series is going to do is make me hate the Lakers more.
Tell me about it. Few things are more sickening than watching the Purple & Gold escape another trap. It's been almost a decade now of watching teams shrink in the big moments against the Lakers. There's no denying that the Laker mystique along with old Phil and his nine rings is intimidating to the opposition (and to the refs, too, of course).

You're right. An absolutely crucial intangible in this series is that the Magic are prone to beating themselves, whereas the Lakers never gag away games in this fashion.
I disagree. The Lakers did squander a 24-pt lead in Game 4 of last year's Finals in LA. But I say these Lakers have grown up A LOT since then.

We can't rip the Magic enough, as far as I'm concerned. I hope they carry the scars of this ridiculous loss into next season. And Rafer Alston deserves more than being benched like this in the Finals after he saved Orlando's season.
