Lebron's  stat's and his greatness often lie and they did again tonight. ..Almost a triple double but when it mattered the most he went between the (10:21) mark and (.45) second mark in the (4th) without a (FG)..Really superstar?? (9 1/2) minutes in the game you have to win (0) (FG)'s in (9 1/2 ) minutes...If this was the first time I could see the masses giving you a pass...but it's happened before not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6.....etc... ...times you have failed in the 4th in critical games....Tonight was another example...The things those of us who criticized him in his career continue to happen while people continue to make excuses why he disappears in bigtime moments of the 4th...4th qtr.'s make superstars....Big games make you....Warriors didn't need this game tonight yet Steph and Klay put (63) up....Those are superstars....When it's needed they are at their best.....How many excuses for Le'brick????

Oh' Lebron don't have teammates.....People have said....I say People throughout the NBA playoffs have won with less.... Kyrie was totally in tonight...Total effort...He put up (34) ...His effort was all there...(5) players on the Cavs  in double digits...Look it up in the finals when other superstar players have had a teammate score (30+) and have (5) players on their team in double digits and lost.....Lebron simply In his career doesn't play to his strengths..... He'll end his career more then likely outside the paint under (35%) yet he'll continue to shoot jumpers. He goes away from what he does best in the most critical of all situations... I've been right all along...He is who he is....A great superstar with incredible ability inside the paint that just needs to take over games when it matters, but to many times he hasn't ...That's a superstar???...He's failed to realize his greatness to many times when it has mattered.....This year looks like one more of those times.......

The Warriors are the better team, that's why they are going to win the Championship.  It's pathetic to blame LeBron.  Stop being Skip Bayless.  Show me stats backing up LeBron is not a clutch player and doesn't step up in the clutch.  Otherwise, shut your mouth.  The dude does everything for that team.

Prove it with stats instead of watching 1 game and saying he's not clutch in the 4th.

Few "superstars " disappear like he has in the biggest games as he has  in his career....Qrt's (1-3) I'm taking him.....When he drives to the paint one of the best we've ever seen...There's been many games he'll go (6-10) minutes without a (FG) ...Really go back and check... it's unreal....If it was one, two, three, 6.7.8. games he gets a pass but his (MO) is that he goes away a lot in critical situations...it's not what you do early it's what you make happen in the clutch....and he's disappeared to many times now.in those situations..

Prove it with stats.  You have provided no stats whatsoever, just assumptions.  You do realize he was Finals MVP twice, right?  And who are you comparing him to?  Michael Jordan?  If, so then stop, because he'll never be Michael.  But, Michael wasn't under a microscope every single game, quarter, shot he took.  LeBron has the most pressure of any athlete ever.  It's not really up for debate either.

Look at this year what's the excuse....??  Tell me teammates again....Last year they were up (2-1) game four was the tipping point NBA finals...James and the Cavs needed to win Badly....He goes (7-22) (.314) shooting % even worse outside the paint... Series over.....Microscope he is under, also he kind of put himself there. Most pressure,,Mabey but,... other"s have overcome that....I don't think he likes the pressure where many other great's have invited the pressure of those moments upon their selves and have become legends....I wasn't ever saying he can't be talked about as one of the top player's.....But he's out of the conversation of the best ever....

Game 1 he shot 41%, dreadful.

It's not about blaming LBJ but his performance in losing a critical game.

Had he performed great and lost to the better team you have a point but he failed to deliver, time and again, over and over in his carreer he has failed to deliver with the game and series on the line and he disappeared once again when the going got tough.

If the guy was truly one of the all-time greats how could any team, regardless of how good they might be stop him, they might stop his team but not him.

I've already proved it with stats many times on the site.

Yea he was MVP of finals in 2013, here is his stats, he shot 12.5% or worse below his regular season FG % in 5 of the 7 games.

I looked at many superstar players and can not find another superstar NBA finals MVP that even comes close to such a dreadful performance while winning MVP.

And on top of those stats I'll add these, his 2013 Heat are the only 65 game winner to be taken to a 7th game in the finals history out of the 14 ...65 game winners to win the title in NBA history,  and it's because of LBJ's dreadful shooting performance .

One can not deny these facts, don't wear blinders.

You will never find a top 5, top 10 player that is scared to take shots like Lebron. Bird, Jordan, Curry all would be very aggressive. Lebron drives to the lane and is only 5-6 feet from the basket. He then jumps in the air to throw a lob pass to the three point line when his teammate is already covered. Another play, he has one on one and Tristan frees the lane for him. Does Lebron take his man to the basket or shoot? Nope. He takes one dribble to the basket and kicks it to Tristan who is at the three point line in the corner. What is Lebron thinking and what is Tristan supposed to do with it there? Lebron is a mental midget.

Everyone has a lower shooting % in playoffs. They actually play defense. He has the 3rd best clutch shooting percentage in nba history in last 2 minutes of 1 possesion playoff games behind only mj and dirk. Kobe is the worst fyi with a minimum of 10 attempts.

Dum dum above strictly looking at number of free throw attempts to say the refs were one sided or not is ignorant. Gs is a jump shooting team. Lebron jumper has been extra bad this season for whatever reason. And he does settle at times. It's hard to keep driving when you get fouled everytime you drive to the basket and they let the contact go. He and westbrook get fouled EVERYTIME they drive in........I'm not even taking up for his performance yesterday I'm just saying if you have ever played ball it's tough to get fouled every possesion and nothing gets called. Then you watch guys like curry, harden, Lillard etc......drive in and get fouls if someone barely nudges them.

This series specifically the gs roster after klay and curry and lebron and irving were gone. I think the rest of the gs state roster would win 20 straight games. I honestly didn't even think it would be that big of a difference. Minus the big 2 on each side the separation is astronomical

I actually thought the Cavs got exposed for having a weak bench that doesn't contribute.  The Cavs were forced to play their starters a lot of minutes and it showed in the 4th when they started settling for shots instead of coming up with designed plays.  Lue did a horrendous job of managing timeouts but since the game wasn't tight at the end it'll likely be glossed over.  Lastly, I love the trade to get Mozgov for two 1st rounders and then barely playing him in the Finals.  I'm pretty sure I could get baked and make a more shrewd trade in a video game.

This thread is so dumb. LeBron played awful last night and that game and this series is on him but saying he doesn't play well in big games?? Do you just hate the guy? In 2012 he scored 45 in an elimination game in Boston. In 2013 he dropped 37 in a game 7 against the spurs while hitting the shot to put them up 4, got the steal on the inbounds, and hit both free throws to put them up 6. NBA finals game 7 is that a big game?? I kinda think it is. In 2007 he lead an awful Cavs team to the finals by scoring the last 24 pts and 55 overall against the pistons. And last year playing with delly as his second option averaged 35 and basically a triple double. Those are stats. To be fair he lost Miami the championship against Dallas and the fact this series is 3-1 and not 2-2 is solely on him. But don't act like he shrinks in big games. Try to be objective. Why aren't you talking about curry? It took him until game 4 to eclipse 20 points. He couldn't win finals mvp over a bench player last year. Where's he at in big games

He is the leader on that POS Cleveland team, don't blame him???. "the dude does everything for that team"???. The dude does SH*T for the team except complaining and blaming others for his failure. Look at MJ or Kobe or other great players, they carry the team to another high level when it matters most. Who is the IDIOT that called him the King anyway. He will be very lucky if he wins another ring. No other good coach wants anything to do with that crying queen. He got the talents around him and this year they all healthy. He will jump ship again in the summer.

My lasting memory of LBJ will always be game 6 of the finals against the Spurs, with his legacy on the line (before Ray Allen saved his bacon). If he loses that series, he would be 1-6 in the Finals? Go back and look at those last few minutes (I think he even lost his headband). He looked totally scared and overwhelmed by the moment, making some boneheaded mistakes that should have cost his team the game. And yet, he was the guy who had kept them in the game for 3.5 quarters. That is LBJ in a nutshell.

He looked totally scared and overwhelmed by the moment, making some boneheaded mistakes that should have cost his team the game. And yet, he was the guy who had kept them in the game for 3.5 quarters. That is LBJ in a nutshell.
