You give objective sources proving points wrong and then they come back with "it doesn't matter, stats don't matter, Kobe has rings, your point is wrong"
It's not true. Kobe's 4 rings are NOT equal to Bird's 4 rings. Hence the reason he is ranked behind Bird on an all-time list.
Kobe averaged 15 ppg on 37% shooting in his first finals appearance and basically missed 2 games while Shaq put up two 40 20 games and averaged 38 16 for the series and won in 6. Kobe was non existant that series and they still won. Other players didn't have that luxury. Stop being an uneducated fan and put it in context.
And Rings matter FOR CAREERS. Not for currently assessing who's the best. If that's the case, Kareem coming back to play now still makes him the best player over anyone in the league witih the 6 rings. You see how this presents false logic?
With that said, LeBron had an absolutely awful game tonight and this loss is on him. In fact, this is probably the worst game he's had in the playoffs his whole career.
And NBAfan, your argument entails that No ring or no win = choke. Should LeBron have dropped 50 12 12 and lost because of a Pierce game winner in game 7, he's a choker because he's lost? LeBron has put up unbelievable performances in nearly every playoff series he was in, setting records along the way. The fact that he didn't win, barring how he played in the clinching game, defines him as a choker?
Again, I give you Kobe up 3-1 vs Phoenix, missing the playoffs the year before and losing in 5 the year after. Or how about giving up the biggest comeback ever in finals history to the Celtics? Or how about a 39 point blowout in game 6 ending the series for Kobe? LeBron against that very same Celtics team dropped 45 in game 7 and you are referring to performances like these as "choking"?
It's like explaining string theory to a special ed kid. Jesus Christ.

This thread has turned into such a joke.

Kobe shot 10/29 and 2/10 in the 4th quarter against the Thunder. Again, it's stupid to overreact over 1 game which you have done multiple times here. Kobe is not a choker because of that game, nor is he a choker for blowing a 3-1 series lead against the Suns or getting blown out by 39 against the Celtics...etc...and LeBron is not a choker for a bad game, or dropping 45 points in game 7 against the Celtics. Nor is he a choker for dropping 39 8 8 every game against Orlando. You act as if teams have nothing to do with championships. Where was Jordan before Pippen? Where was Oscar without Kareem? Where was Bird without McHale, Parish, Walton, etc...?
