Melo will always find a right trade partner but it is politically volatile. I don't know if Phil wants to rock the boat THAT much in his first year.

Melo is an excellent complimentary player, like Wade. He won't win a championship but can certainly be a piece of one. If they bring in a lead guy in 2015 and make Melo a #2 guy, they will keep him and flourish.

I believe that is Phil's goal right now.

I haven't really capped the game.

It is a letdown spot for the Lakers for the Lakers but if you are going to win three in a row, this is the team to do it against.

The line is surprising though when a 15 win teams spots anyone 1.5...

Can't say at the moment who I like.

Now I'm not one to disagree with you usually, but last night god do I wish I bouht Pacers down the half point from -1.5!! tiny bet so didn't make any difference once Knicks hit but the NBA fix convention gets wackier everyday, you can never be too careful in some situations!

and in regard to "only dude you can trust day in day out" comment.. I think the once or twice a week writeups teach a good lesson that the followers on here could benefit from, and that is in the value of restraint. Discipline sinks every one of us at one point at least, and especially in this game theres no shame in picking your battles. Say what you want about Mayweather, he picks who he fights and doesn't lose. Winning can't be taught while discipline does help you get there.

Good call on the game last night. Although I thought I had a chance at winning when the Kings started coming back in the 4th qtr. You were right. I was wrong.

Picking your battles when capping. Wise words...

I was just saying that to him because I personally don't cap games for .5 pt to a 1 pt. I want to see a sufficient margin of victory and for all but one game this year it's been that way.

But yes, you did get burned last night.

I think you just have to look at spotting 1.5 and winning by 1 as pocket aces vs. pocket kings. You can never lay down pocket kings in tournament play preflop (blinds will get you if you do) so if he has aces and you call his all in, so be it. Ya just gotta take your lumps there. It happens SO infrequently to get moosed like this on a number of 1, it's a tough sell to buy the hook there. But I do feel for ya. I was a little irked myself when I saw the 1.5 on that game. Just a bit odd...
