This Milwaukee @ Washington game jumped out at me while I was glancing at the lines for the games tonight. I can't help but be intrigued in this matchup simpily due to how well the Bucks have been playing lately.
In case you are unaware, Milwaukee has vaulted has themselves from 9th in the East all the way 6th. Not that difficult considering the teams ranked 5-9 aren't very good to begin with. In any case, it's been a pretty damn good run. This team has won 8 of their last 10 games, and even more impressive is the fact they've covered the spread in 8 straight games. And how about this. Since January 18th the Milwaukee Bucks are 19-3 ATS. That's absolutley remarkable if you ask me. How often do you find that level of consistancy with mediocre team like this?!
Unfortunatley for most gamblers out there, the Milwaukee Bucks aren't a team that gets much attention. That means not many gamblers have been to cash in despite the fact that they've been hot since the end of January. Only now are people starting to take notice and that's mostly due to the fact that the Bucks are in the playoff picture.
So what's my point in all this you ask?
As I stated earlier, you have the Bucks playing the Wizards on the second game of a back to back. It was only Wednesday that these two teams last met up. Milwaukee went into that game as a monsterous -10 favorite. The finals result saw them come away with 13 point victory as they smashed the Wizards 100-87 on home court. Tonight those very same Bucks travel to Washington as -4.5 favorites. Now when you consider how the last game played out, and when you consider how well Milwaukee has been playing lately... Taking the Bucks in this spot looks like steal.
This is the perfect oppertunity for the books to pull a fast one on bettors if you ask me. I'm sure many gamblers out there are getting tired of missing those golden oppertunites that are being presented everytime the Bucks play. They've been inconsistant but finally appear to be rolling in the right direction. Tonight's game looks like a glorious chance to ride the Bucks to fistfulls of cash. Enough missing out! It's time to ride this train to riches!
If only it were that easy.
Washington +4.5 - ML

my thoughts because i am very intrigued by this game and am so pissed i wasnt on that 19-3 ATS run....i have always liked this team and told myself awhile back to just ride them due to their under the radar quality.
Maybe they are not mediocre anymore, not saying powerhouse, but the style they play and the pieces they have, they will always be competitive imo vs every team. I dont see trap written on this line, I personally think it is high. That's enough points at home to bait even action, if i saw a 2.5 I'd have more faith in the wiz winning.
All that being said, I hear what you are saying and wish you the BOL

The Wiz are a play for me as well, line sitting at 4.5 and i think it may get to 5, if it moves down i don't think it will go less than 4 so waiting till tomorrow morning to see what it does. BOL Chris.

staying away from the side but under is the better play for this game IMO, possibly dog and under but just can't back the dog here because Milwaukee is a hot team.

I agree, something else to look at is the wizards usually lose one half and win the other. Thats something that i noticed since the trade. If they lose the first half then they should be good for the second. Checked it out !!!!!

I think the Bucks will come out strong in this one and take it, but I'm
not placing a wager on this game as of yet. Bucks are hot.. winning
their last 8 out of 10 games which they covered ATS 9 out of 10..They
have won their last 13 out of their last 17 games, covering ATS 14 of
those 17 games.

I'm leaning towards Milwaukee -4.5

I agree with Richardston above, the UNDER is a good play in this game IMO, in fact, it's my only play today...there's a strong trend backing this. The UNDER in Washington's last nine games have hit after they have allowed 100 points the previous game....just like the Jazz ply last night, it's hard to look away from that trend until it derails. If you look at the box score of their last game MIL hit 4 more 3's had 29 assists to 16 turnovers and WASH had 18 assists to 21 turnovers that was basically the outcome of a 13pt win. I can see a FLIP SAUNDERS team taking care of the basketball better at home. This milw team loves to shoot the three and that can be trouble for a team laying more then 3 pts on the road. WASH had 4 more off rebs in the last game and if Bogut gets into foul trouble i think the home team laying 4 and a half is a decent look at a play. Also MIL has the CAVS on deck so you know they might look ahead for that game since they did play them tough on the CAVS home floor last time out.
