Was Under and Utah Jizz Perfect spot for the Lazy Lakeshow to re-surface again. A game sandwiched between a 3 game rest and 2 more afte the Jazz game.
No love playing on the Mavs with Eric Gordon out of the mix?
Going to wait until the 2nd half and get a feel for how the game is going. Hopefully I will be back from bowling by then...but doubtful. Could be a game where the Mavs relax a bit because of Gordon being out

Best 1st Quarter trend to follow is fade Utah away from home. Jazz are 2 - 20 SU on the road in 1st Quarters, one of those wins was against Cleveland too. They are ridiculously bad.

The only thing that really worries me about this total (besides the fact that I am terrible at totals) is that most of the signs for this game are pointing towards the UNDER. The Wizards play slower at home...the Nuggets play slower (if at all) on the road. The Wizards have also seen back to back road games twice already this season, and the second game has followed the first game total both times. The Wizards are averaging only 96 points in their home games against the Western Conference, which is severely spiked due to the stupidly fast paced game against the Kings. If you take that game out...their average goes down to 91.2 points. The Nuggets on the road vs. the East put up about 106 per game, which is a little bit higher due to a couple of games against the Knicks and Raptors, who don't play defense. The Wizards aren't known exactly for their defense, but they are 5th in the league in blocked shots which should slow down most of the inside game of the Nuggets...and 3rd in the league in steals. This total IMO is set about 4 points too high. It might be close, but I strongly feel as though it stays under the total.
Prediction: Nuggets 104 Wizards 99 Risk: 1.1 units to win 1 unit
So often i see guys admit that they suck at totals but continue to try and use them.
