Careful on the Lakers. They have an efficiency differential of -18 (worst in NBA) when playing off of 3 days rest. Jazz 1st half might be the way to go...just my 2 cents...

Although I would be pissed if this line somehow went up to 2.5 sometime between now and game time, I highly doubt that will happen.  Clippers are the best team in the first quarter hands down this year...especially in the past month and a half.  Dallas has been struggling to get momentum going in their past couple games, especially on the offensive end.  I didn't think the injury to Caron Butler would slow them down this much, but apparently it did.

aireent said it best...it would be worse if he tried to play hurt.  Since he is out...the Mavs will tend to play a little less aggressive.  It's a widely known phenomenon known as the "star out theory".  Baron Davis/Eric Bledsoe are more than capable of handling the ball.  Basically all the have to do is pound it into Blake and let him either get easy buckets or have the Mavs get into foul trouble

With Gordon out, missing 24.5/gm is huge, I think it will have an impact tonight, clipps pts will def ' be down, diggin' the Mavs esp' with Dirk now warmed up!

I took them because they are both at home...and both in the playoff mix.  Can't be losing these types of games.  The Maple Leafs suck...and the Panthers aren't much better.

WIthout a doubt it will have an impact...I just don't think in the 1st Quarter
