And spreads are made by taking the average point outputs by Team A...compared with the points allowed from Team B either at home or on the road.

Then they take the recent performances from Team A & Team B...factor in injuries...and what do you know there is a spread and a total.

good luck bro.....i disagree with what u said about how the lines are made....there are a ton more factors into making the spread/total.

Washington Wizards vs. New Jersey Nets UNDER 48.5 1st Q

Wizards averaging 23.36 points overall in the 1st Q...22.55 vs. the Eastern Conference in the 1st Q in their road games. Nets average 23.25 points in the 1st Q of their home games...and only 22.62 points against their Eastern Conference friends.  Wizards have been giving up some big points...but it's been against the Lakers (2x), Suns, Knicks, Raptors, etc.

Prediction:  Nets 23  Wizards 21

Im watching on TV and everything going to the rim is called a foul. Also on that foul on Outlaw he took an off balanced shot throwing up garbage looking for a foul and got it.

Boston Celtics -2 1st Quarter

They will still be riding high after their win last night.  Hawks are missing their key offensive players in Johnson and Crawford.  Celtics will go UP....DOWN....UP....DOWN in this game...and I have a feeling the Hawks cover and maybe even win late.

Prediction: Celtics 28  Hawks 20

Bad luck CM........Just wondering, did u look at the refs before the game?

NJ through 1.5 qtrs have already attempted 19 FT's and the WIZ 10.........

It was the FT's that killed it.The refs saw they were struggling from the field and started blowing the whistle to help scoring IMO

I did not look at the refs for this game.

I did for the Hawks/Steelers and Spurs/Nuggets.

I tend to focus mostly on the televised games with refs.  Try to figure out who the television guys want to win/cover.

CM, i think Boston is one of the best overs team in the league.....

This team doesnt play defense like it did when they wn the championship 3 yrs ago........That team had the best D.......

Now, they are an offensive juggernaut......

They seem to put all there efforts on that side of the floor....

Your thoughts.?

Rostos...there is one person that defines what this team does on the defensive side of the ball...and most of what they do on the offensive side when he is in there.

Shaq.


He's been out for a while...and the OVERS are flying just like Nate Robinson after that 3-pointer.  They don't have a true center now...and since they are older they don't have anyone to stop penetration.

On the offensive end they are MUCH more focused because they have the option to drive to the hoop more.  Shaq clogs up the middle and slows down any offense for obvious reasons

Maybe if you didn't blow all your grandmother's money on a bet we could see your talents here every night.

I will give you one answer. What is the single easiest sport and thing to bet on in that sport? Answer College Bbball TOTALS. Do you know why college bball totals are the easiest to crush?
