This line isnt going to be moving much, if it all, today.  The Western Conference has struggled SU against the East.  The Suns are in a bad scheduling spot here, as this is the last game of a long road trip...and they just got embarassed by the Pistons by blowing a 15 point lead (and some of my money) the other night.  6-14 SU for the West...57-24 SU for the Home Teams on Monday...I rather like those odds.

Prediction:  Sixers 101  Suns 98
Risk:  1.7 units to win 1 unit

Can anyone out there explain to me why the Cavs/Nets total keeps rising?  The Nets have failed hit 90 or less points in more than half of their games this season (23 of 44).  The Cavs just flat out suck on a level that we haven't seen for quite a while.  Yes, recently Cleveland has been allowing a shit ton of points (110.8 in their last 10)...but look who it was against....Dallas, Toronto, Golden State, Phoenix, LA Lakers, Utah, Denver, and then Phoenix again!!  Those are some of the highest scoring teams in the league.  It's not a shock when they put up 110 against anyone...let alone the worst team in the league.

This line is just BEGGING to be pounded.

San Antonio vs. Golden State OVER 210.5

Strongest OVER bet of the day IMO.  Saying the Spurs got beat the other night is an understatement.  They got taken to the woodshed and brutally beaten over the head with a shovel for 48 minutes.  But lucky enough for them, they get to play a team that they LOVE to play.  The Spurs have beat the Warriors 10 straight games, and have averaged 115.4 points per game in those matchups.  After putting up 72 against their rival New Orleans, I have a feeling G-Pop is going to have his team focused.  I see absolutely NO reason why the Spurs won't put up 115+ in this one.  Warriors are routinely putting up 100+ themselves, and even higher at home.  I'll drop them down a little bit from their average considering the Spurs should be extra pissed off.

Prediction:  Spurs 117  Warriors 103
Risk:  2.2 units to win 2 units

Interesting theory.  I believe there are quite a few backers on that same train for the Wizards on the road as well...and how is that working out?

I'm sure you will see a few threads for the Wizards ML tonight as well.  IMO it is just not worth it.  We keep saying every game how the Cavs really can't be THIS bad...and then they laugh in our face and prove us wrong.

CM you had a good day yesterday so the law of averages say to fade you today ha. That being said only thing I like is Knicks tnt if your a situational better.

I know I'm falling for the trap here.  I know I'm falling for the freakin trap here!!  But seriously, without Anthony Parker in the lineup for the Cavs they have no scoring.  Antawn Jamison can't do it all for them.  Hell, any time you have to put your scoring load on Jamison...you're in trouble.

Last 5 road games for the Pistons have all gone UNDER...and by a very wide margin (15.4 points under the total on average).  Last 5 home games for the Magic have gone UNDER...including an OT game and games against the Warriors and Rockets (2 of the higher scoring teams in the league).  In the first quarter of those games...the Pistons' games are only averaging 45 points, the Magic are at 46.2 over the last 5.  I just don't see this one getting up that high.  Like ValueForRent said, this is a game where the Pistons could hang around...simply because it's probably not a high energy type of game for the Magic, and their focus might get them trapped here....(think Celtics vs. Wizards the other night)

Prediction:  Magic 24 Pistons 22 (1st)  Magic 93  Pistons 87 (Game)

Washington Wizards vs. New York Knicks UNDER 54 1st Q

First game in NY hit 53 in the first quarter...and I think that's just about as high as it goes in this one as well.  Last 3 road games for the Wizards have all started off slowly (46 points total in each).  First game back after a little west coast road trip for the Knicks, and a slight look ahead game to the Heat on Thursday night.

Prediction:  Knicks 26  Wizards 24
Risk:  1.1 units to win 1 unit
