New Orleans Hornets 1st Quarter ML

They are still one of the best teams at home...especially to start off the game.  Differential of +36 for the Hornets...the Pistons are -34 on the road.  I wasn't really a big fan of the -3 number, because I can see it pretty much falling right there.  Like the way the Hornets are playing against the Eastern Conference as well.

Prediction:  Hornets 27  Pistons 23

LA Lakers vs. LA Clippers OVER 204

I have a feeling that the Lakers will put up 110+ by themselves in this one.  The Clippers have been a lively bunch in the past couple weeks...going 6-4 ATS and 4-6 SU...which if you are a Clipper fan is pretty damn good.  Hopefully Baron Davis won't play in this one...and he'll just get the hell out of the way.

The Nuggets have only seen a 52 point 1st quarter twice on the road, and the Celtics have only seen it once.  I know there are some injury questions with the Celtics right now...but I really can't see them giving up many points to this team on their back to back.  2nd and 3rd quarter is where the Nuggers really put up their points.

Cleveland Cavaliers +2 1st Quarter

The Bulls are only averaging 21 points in the first quarter on the road this year...while the Cavs are putting up 24.  They have been on a slide as of late, but should be able to hang tough early on in this one.

Prediction:  Cavs 24  Bulls 23
Risk:  1.1 units to win 1 unit



Here comes the end of the hot streak I do believe.  Bulls did what they were expected to do...but 4-18 from the Cavs?  Holy shit

Boston Celtics -1.5 3rd Quarter

The Up-Down-Up-Down system seem to be in full effect once again for the Celtics.  I see them jumping out early in the 3rd much like they did in the 1st on the defensive end.  Nuggets were shooting hot as hell in the 2nd quarter...and I don't see that continuing.  The last three games that the Celtics have lost the 2nd quarter by 5+ points they have followed that up in the 3rd by winning by 10,13, and 6.

Prediction:  Celtics 28  Nuggets 18

Milwaukee Bucks 1st Quarter PK

The Pacers on the road in the 1st quarter give up 28 points on average...and have a point differential of -46 overall.  The Bucks are pretty much the complete opposite of that...they put up 25.9 points in the 1st and have a difference of +47.  A little deceiving however because of that huge 41-19 quarter against the Knicks a few weeks back.  Either way, the Bucks have been at home for a while, and I think they start this one off on the right foot.

Prediction:  Bucks 29  Pacers 24

Last three home games the Knicks have cruised in the 3rd quarter, while the Raptors have really struggled.  I think they get up to about 8-10 and then get ready for a good 4th quarter finish.
