How can you even bet any of these Laker games anymore, when a coach does this. He has now done this 3 games in a row and it does not look like the scrubs are getting any better....

So they only won by 13 ? Oh yeah the spread was 13.5. Coaches don't care about covering point spreads just winning games. Why risk an injury in junk time.

I am just saying it is not right. Almost cost them the game the other night. I did not bet on the game. Watched it and it just makes me mad that they do this. If a guy is only going to play 75% of the time then he should get 75% money. This is what will cause injuries because when they have to go 100% they will not be used to the 100% play when they need it. Lets see if this practice brings them the title. If it does no problem, but I do not think it will, but then again that is why they play the games. Jackson even admitted that he made the mistake the other night against Indiana. I will not put any money on the Lakers with play like this. If everyone is worried about getting hurt, why evenplay the game then...

Do the math ... If Kobe averages 7 fewer minutes per game over 82 games, he'll play 574 fewer minutes. That's roughly 12 fewer GAMES (48 minutes per game) that Kobe will have played. He'll be better rested for a deep playoff run.

it's natural for a strong team to let their bench players play when they're having a big lead. look at cleveland, it's just that cle bench are much aggressive than lakers bench.
