Shields has been fighting at 185 so that was his first drop to 170 in a long time.  We will see if Shields or GSP is bigger during weigh in since they are both pretty big 170 pounders.  Shields better hopes his body is used to the weight drop this time out since he will need a full tank for this one.  

The odds obviously tells us that he is a heavy underdog.  I don't think I've really seen anyone take down GSP so it will be interesting if Shields can take GSP down.  Supposedly, GSP has a real good wrestling base.  If Shields can't take GSP down then it will be all over in a 5 round decision.

  If, only if, Shields gets GSP in a bad position like some sort of lock (armbar, ankle lock, etc.), I'm sure GSP will be quick to tap- I doubt he will want to risk an injury over one fight.  Remember when Hughes armbarred GSP?  But that was a sick armbar since Hughes had full weight on it.

I am curious what those numbers tell you:

3 hrs ago when 5417 bets were placed(pregame) on SA Mem game, 62% were on Mem-3, 46% on Mem ML and 66% on U189. Now, 7653 bets, 57% on Mem-3, 43% on Mem ML, 64% on U189. I learned that sharps were not as sharp lately and squares were not as squares neither. I start to disregard those numbers because if I listened to those I would be 11-18 on playoffs now instead of 21-8 that I am (16-3 from that on totals thou). Do you think that all that bet counting is only good for one purpose - fading the public on certain day?
