Hornets versus Golden State

 I talk about a team , not about Collison and Thornton. The team itself , whatever take Okafor , West , benched Paul who is acting like a coach to young Collison , but the team itself is way more experienced if you ask me . 

I like the Hornets either way with Posey out.  Don't think the Warriors are 4 points better than the Hornets at home but thats my take.

I say its that little bit of defense and crashing of that boards that could win the game for them.  Their playoff hopes aren't completely SHOT - until then I look for them to keep playing hard... whether its the full 48 mins or the last 10 mins of the game.  +4 with the Hornets just seems like too many points to me.  I don't need to tell you how many times an injury-ridden 8 player team has won on the road SU this year.

Team experience doesnt mean shit if the experienced players are sitting on the bench.  West & Okafur are basically the experience.  Im picking my spots to prove a point, just as I did yesterday when I told people that Indiana would beat Charlotte.

Your gonna need above average games from Hornets players to stay in this game...and you better hope West & Okafur combine for 50-60pts, cause if it comes down to guard play or bench production...the Warriors will route.

By all means, Im not trying to get you on my side.  Im just giving you some insight on how I look at the game.  I was just responding to the fact people think guard play is an advantage of the Hornets, when in fact its the complete opposite.

Look for Marcus Thornton and Darren Collinson to run through the lowly warriors... the warriors always look so good for 3 \quarters and then piss all there hard efforts away in the 4 th quarter.. they have such a short bench that monta and stephen curry can barely play defense because they have noone off the bench to replace them... injuries have a major impact on this team. The warriors are a good team. But look for NO to pull away late 

Well. According to my players rating system the play is the Hornets.

Against-the-spread both teams are at opposite spectrums. It'll even by the end of March.

I agree 100% - Guard play is definitely in the Warriors favor -  I'm counting on that little bit of D and rebounding in the Hornets that they possess to make it a close game.  Maybe not a win.... but I could see it finishing as a 2 or 3 point game in the end.

Wish you guys would've listened.  Dominated from mid-3rd quarter on and this was WITHOUT Curry

 

West got his as anticipated...and Collison got his assists due to playing time alone.  Thornton chipped in late, but wasn't enough.

 

That back-court of the Warriors you thought was the disadvantage only went 9-13 from deep in the 4th quarter alone.  REPEAT...9-13 in 12mins from deep on their way to a 43pt quarter.
