Unirobber I have ATLANTA -8 on power ranking over Detroit and with home court advantage they should cover. I agree if there is going to be a close game this will b the game but I have to keep on rolling with the streak as I see this streak going for 20 plus games and being truly memorable.

It's hard to go against a team that's hit 12 straight and while I want to load up on the Hawks, this could be one they don't cover. I think the play is the half time line.

The last time these teams played Atlanta was blowing them out and Detroit made a furious comeback in the fourth quarter to lose by 3 I believe.  I like Detroit here because of the long road trip Atlanta was on.  Good luck tho.

Both teams are hot.  Detroit will be focused here with revenge on its mind after losing to Atl at home so recently, and need to win every game they can since their record still sucks.  In general, fading teams 1st game back from a road trip, particularly a winning one is the play.
So actually, imo it's either a play on Detroit or sit it out.  Whatever happens, some people will crow about their capping abilities...that's for certain!

Everyone has valid points here and on NORMAL circumstances I would 100% agree with all the DET backers BUT this HAWKS team has shown its HOT and has easily covered the last 12 games.

Be VERY careful DET backers after ATLANTA beat them look at the teams they have beaten....Phil. Toronto and lost to NEW Orleans they have beaten sub par teams that are struggling and today they face the best it won't even b close!!!!

If anyone's streak is overrated, it's Detroit's.  They are beating up on lottery teams while ATL has been making easy work of the elite teams.
