NJ -1/2 -120>>>NJ has been so far this year going 11-2 against the numbers. NJ has covered every home game except the 1st game against Denver. Since then, they have covered 7 of 10 quarters at home. New York is perfect at home, but on the road they are a dismal 1 of 4, covering only 1 of 8 quarters.
Will check out the other games and post before I go to work.
SATURDAY 1Q PLAYS:
I'll post the early game right now...

CLE -3 1/2>>>Cleveland just lost their 1st 1Q/3Q yesterday to IND as a road team. Hopefully, they won't lose their 1st home game today. Philadelphia is 5-1 as a road team, but has never covered both 1Q/3Q. Their only loss came as a 5 point road fave against NJ.
HOU -3 1/2>>>Houston is perfect at home (5-0). As a home fave, they have covered 6 of 6 quarters. Sacramento just swept Dallas yesterday in both quarters, but they are 3-2 as a road team.
DEN -2 1/2>>>Denver is perfect at home (4-0). But, it looks like they start slow at home, covering each game in the 3Q. Denver just lost SU against GSW. They should be fired up to win after their loss yesterday. Chicago is 3-3 on the road- losing to BOS, TOR, & LAL.
POR -4>>>Portland is perfect at home (6-0). The last 2 games at home, they covered both 1Q & 3Q. Minnesota is 3-2 on the road- losing to POR and GSW. As a road dog they have only covered 3 of 10 quarters.
Each of these games look pretty strong to me. The problem is I hate all that chalk... Last time I had this much chalk, I lost a lot of 1Qs but it actually turned out to be a good day with the 3Q covering. People following this thread may want to wait for the 3Q before putting in your bets... You've been warned

ORL-1>>> Orlando is 11-2 covering at least one quarter. As a road team, they are 5-1, losing only to DET as an 8 1/2 point fave. Toronto is perfect on the road, but at home they are 3-2 losing to ORL & DET as home dogs.
NY +3>>>NY is perfect at home, but has yet to cover both 1Q & 3Q. BOS, on the other hand, is dismal at 1Q & 3Q. They do most of their scoring in the 2Q & 4Q. As a road team they are 2-2, losing the last two road games against NJ & IND. For the season BOS is 6-6 against the numbers. BUT, Boston's trend is either to win both quarters or lose both quarters.

LAL -3>>>LAL is 7-1 at home. They have covered 11 of 16 quarters at home and covered both quarters 4 of 8 times. OKC is 3-2-1 as a road team losing to HOU and ORL.
IND/CHA pick em>>> IND is perfect as a road team and CHA is perfect as a home team. I would consider this a 3Q play.
