Game 6 - How's it going to go?

Who's to say what's going to happen tonight? Some have pointed to the series from last year and said it's following those same details which means a game 6 blowout win for the Heat and then they take game 7 on Tuesday. Others have picked up on something I posted the other day which is that there is quite a bit of symmetry to the 2006 finals where the underdog heat came to Dallas for game 6 getting 6 points and not only covered but closed the series out.

But the one it reminds me of the most is a series I referenced before this one started. The 2004 finals with the superstar riddled Lakers going against the Pistons. Wouldn't have seemed to apply here since the Heat won game 1 but it certainly has mirrored it since. After the Mavs took game 2 in Miami the Heat were stunned much like the Lake show was losing to Detroit in Game 1 of 2004. The Lakers won game 2 thanks to a last minute shot from Kobe (the Heat got their shot from Bosh). The Lakers exhaled after that game 2 win and everyone thought that the Lakers would then take over. But their confidence was shaken and even though they caught a reprieve with a game 2 win Detroit ran them off the court for the next 3 games and won the championship. Now say what you will about the series so far but it's clear to see that the Heat's confidence is shaken. They don't seem to know why they can't put the Mavs down and keep them down. If they get a lead tonight do those same concers and doubts start to creep into their heads again? I'm betting yes.
