Funk's NBA bets - 2013/2014

Just one but very strong leaning for today:

Thunder - 5.5

OKC are 4-0 SU at home this season. OKC are 16-1 SU and 11-5 ATS against b2b team this and last two seasons. This time Ibaka won't be ejected and the game will be different... last game at LA before Serge ejection Thunder own the Clipps. It's TNT thursday. Revenge time!

I'm kind of liking the Nuggets even more than the Bulls, actually.  Everyone is jumping all over the Bulls b/c they have won 5 straight, but the Nuggets are playing their best bball of the season as well (lost 2 in a row on the road against top teams in the west I don't really count as playing bad, and should have beat Thunder).  Add to this the Nuggets have owned the Bulls in Denver and Jimmy Butler, Bulls best perimeter defender, out for the game against the high-scoring Nuggets?? I like it, I would appreciate your thoughts on it though.

I meant Nuggets even more than the Thunder bet.. haha

cloudnine if i have to choose side i'll go with Denver. You have good read of this game in your write up so go for it. I won't play this game... just want to stick with one game tonight and i like more the Thunder's game.

I had no doubts in that win. One of the easiest from start of the season. Sometimes you just need good feeling with some good numbers who supported it.


Tigers2013 It was fun. I like it very much. I visited many interesting places. I don't like one thing.. it was very overcrowded in downtown but that is normal for over 8 million people city.

Yeah... first time in UK Betting culture there is on very high level. You could see sportsbook house on every corner in London. But they are huge football fans and love to bet on greyhound and horse races. That is like religion for many people there. But you maybe know that if you have been in London ever.

BOS and IND make low scoring type of games last years. With this worst offense for Celts this year... i see this tradition continues tonight.

DET and ATL are close game in my opinion. This game along with MEM and SA have good chance to be OT type of game tonight... Hawks are one of the most inconvenient opponents for Pistons last seasons. Only two wins in last ten and both were with just 1 point spread... Both teams has great individuals but i like ATL more like a team. Jennings and Josh are great players but they need more time to build real contender in East. Horford and Millsap has enough powers to battle with great rebounders like Drummond and Monroe under the dash. Hawks + points even at road has great value for me with the type of game (close) i expected.

Blazers own the Bulls at home last years. Now Bulls are b2b without one of their best defenders Butler. I love to play low spread favs like Blazers (team that i know can play good basketball) last seasons. Portland winning streak will stop... but not tonight... maybe tomorrow against Warriors.

LAL are 10-0 SU winning streak at home against GSW. I know this year Lakers are awful but 6 points spread  as home dog is too big even for this team... Lakers surprise this season with good basketball against better opponents (Clippers, Rockets...) and awful performances against not so good teams. So be careful if you choose my favorite team Warriors for tonight.

Leaning: Lakers + 6

I lean LAL but i won't put money on such a coin toss team like them. This is just feeling.

Lakers game might be closer than a lot of people think in my opinion, curry might be out too

Spurs at Grizzlies - Under 184.5

Expect close game with 80-90 points for each team. Won't play them because my new rule to play just one total a day (BOS/IND are my choice) until i find rhythm after last weeks disaster... Possible OT here could ruin the right bet.

Half point again... I knew Blazers will beat Bulls last night but sometimes this spreads are just awful I don't think luck is with me this season so maybe i have to wait until these type of games go to my side....  My writeup about Lakers game was right... little sorry that i don't play them but that is Lakers... it's better to thrown my money in the ocean...  BOL buddies... i'm back to the winning side after my return from London and only bad beats costs me better bankroll and record.
