my lean was on CHARLOTTE, but i don't think i'm going to put my money on it. CHARLOTTE has actually been playing out of their uniforms and DALLAS has been mediocre since acquiring Kidd. Hard to take 10.5 points here tonight with a hot CHARLOTTE team coming in with a new hope now that G Wallace is coming back. 
i was initially thinking the same thing (trap game) but UTAH has never been overly impressive on the road and the BULLS have had some success lately at home and have played tough against better opponents.
HOUSTON on the other hand has not played down to any competition and has played consistently strong (regardless of their opponent) during their 18 game streak. look at how many games they have covered ATS. i'm going to ride this one on the fact that HOUSTON has been on a tear and haven't proved to be fade material whereas ATLANTA has yet to beat an opponent with a good winning percentage recently.
i just don't see how ATLANTA can hang right now and you know HOUSTON is going to come and play and not take a night off. i'm going to ride this HOUSTON streak for now.

NEW JERSEY has lost 6 straight (SU & ATS) and after a long road trip there's nothing sweeter for an NBA team than to come home. believe it or not NEW JERSEY is still right in the hunt for the final playoff spot and they should be thoroughly dissappointed that they have even let that go with their skid, but if they have any hope of making it they are going to have to win games at home with 9 and 9 left to go.
overall this is just a nice spot for NEW JERSEY and i'm not a firm believer that CLEVELAND is anything more than a above average East team.
