Jerry West is a top 10 player ever.  His nickname was "Mr. Clutch" and he went 1-8 in NBA Finals.  

Basketball is a team sport.  If a team is better than your team, you're most likely going to lose.  Michael Jordan had great teams, a great coach, and his team's stayed way too healthy in his Finals' runs.

Hey papaShango Shaq did play with Lebron in Cleveland and they did not win a title that year. I just find it impressive that Michael has 6 finals mvps, If dwayne wade was on those bulls teams no way Michael would have given up the finals mvp to him..

All people have been talking about is how great and how much better the talent is today....So I went and looked at this amazing talent in the East Lebron faces 70% of the season...and here are the big man he has to deal with....Look at these STUDS

Bost--Bass, Olynyk, Zeller

Nets--Young, Lopez, Plumlee

Knicks--Melo, Aldrich, Barganni

Philly--Mbah Moute, Noel, Sims

Tor--Valancicus, Johnson, Patterson

Bulls--Gasol, Noah, Gibson

Det--Monroe, Drummand

Indy--Hibbert, George, West

Mil--Henson, Pachulia

Atl--Hoford, Milsap, Brand

Char--Jefferson, Williams, Zeller

Miami--Bosh, Deng, Whiteside

Orl---Vucevic, Nicholson, Gordon

Wash---Nene, Gortat, Humpries

 

Look at all those STUDS, great athletes and Hall of Famers Lebron has to battle with in the East

how do you know that?    lets look at this carefully...

If curry and klay played back in the stockton hornacek days handchecking was allowed. that is huge!!!  If you hear about any of the players that played during and after the rule was changed you will know how much of a huge difference  it is.  If you think Curry was having problems with Delly now? imagine what he would do vs a better craftier defender with handchecking with stockton.  I find it so funny when people discredit stockton. The guy was very strong, he was crafty, very smart, and could shoot.  Lets forget  that they were in an era where working out with weights/nutrition wasnt like today. So if they played in todays era, they wouldnt be exactly the same player.

Gary payton even had stockton present him in the hall of fame. He said stockton was the best competitor he ever faced. (they played each other often)
