It's not technically a must win for them, but they probably feel like it is. They will never be fresher than they'll be tonight. Extra rest paid off for them in Game 1 in each of the first two rounds, and no doubt the Lakers feel it's imperative that they get this series started out in the same way. I expect the Nuggets to win because they win every game at Ball Arena that they want (really want) to win, but I won't be at all surprised to see the Lakers stay within 6.5 here.

But you are suggesting (since you did bet Denver 1Q and 1H) that Denver is going beat up on the Lakers in the all first half and then forget how to play in the 2H. BOL with that.

In his flustered exaggeration of my Game 1 prediction, jesron1289 plainly laid out precisely what actually wound up happening. This has been a remarkable little thread.

This will be the first time the Nuggets have faced the Lakers in the conference finals with both the better team and with the homecourt advantage. How hungry do you think the Nuggets are to take advantage of this opportunity? Are they hungrier than the Lakers? Yes. That's the team I want. I want the hungrier, largely overlooked team that owns the homecourt advantage and a devastating homecourt win/loss record.

And I want them again on Thursday.

Same. Ham went for it in the 4th, played James and AD 40 minutes. Short turn around for game 2.

I like Denver to this time cover the line easily and win by double digits.

I LOVED the bounce and energy I saw from Murray. He kinda sorta looked back to old Murray tonight. Great confidence

In G2 Nuggets should cover this one a little easier with that day after high altitude hitting the big fellas of LA.

Davis should be a shell of himself next game.

But will definitely shop for the best line as we've seen what a bad line can do to you.
