LeBron has nothing left to prove to anybody. He's won his MVP's and Championships and is already considered one the best to ever play the game. His move to L.A. is all about setting up his life after basketball in my honest opinion. Should the Lakers happen to win, even better.

He didn't really lose that much. Don't doubt there was a promise of a max contract if he did his part and didn't get hurt. Cousins gets a guaranteed ring and will be on the bet team he's ever been on. Dubs get the interior presence and rebounding monster they have needed for 4 years now. I think Gary Myers is thinking 5 moves ahead and really doesn't want to give Draymon the super max.

I think Warriors 3 peat and that was before the Cousins pickup. With him onboard, it just makes my choice a little easier. Just something that hasnt been done in awhile since the Shaq-era Lakers.
If Spurs do ease up and decide to trade Kawhi to Lakers things would definitely get interesting..
And the rich got richer. Life isnt fair in the NBA...

NBA has always been most popular when there was a "super team" 80s with the Lakers and Celts, 90s Bulls, early 2000s Lakers.
I wonder if the Warriors signed Cousins because they think he makes them better, or if they didn't want him on the Lakers, I don't see Cousins style of play being a good fit for the Warriors, but maybe he will adapt.

You are a wise man...Unibrow + Kawahi will be Lakers soon enough....not too many people think Davis is on the outs with NOrls, but hes no dumb dumb...he wants a piece of this "legacy" talk and hes got the game to back it up....just imagine an aging Lebron on a team with Leonard, Davis, and who ever else the Lakers can grab down the road on vet minimums and such.
But regarding Boogie and his one year deal, this is what ive heard from a credible source on VSiN named Geltzeiler...Boogie literally called up coach Kerr and asked him if he would see himself fitting in with the Warriors game plan...Kerr is a master as dealing with egos and personalities...they both claim the phone call was a positive one and GM Myers got the deal signed that same day...Boogie might have gotten nervous that not a single team contacted him or his agent regarding any possible deals, so its very likely he got scared nothing good would come this offseason regarding a legit team offering him a good contract...so he did the smart thing and called the future champs for a one year "tryout" deal...i think its the best move both parties could have made, and the Warriors yet again prove how smart they really are as an organization...the Lakers really messed up by not getting Boogie themselves now, and Unibrow next year along with Kawahi...then we would be talking multiple rings for LABron and company for the next many years.

Impossible for the Fakers to have KBJ/Kawhi/AD....LBJ will be making $40Million..in Year 3....Kawhi will be making $35 Million...So AD is suppose to take a discount and play for $30 Million when he can get $45 million+ from the Pelicans ....Only way it happens is if the Fakers trade for AD, which they don't even have the assets to do so..cant' sign him as a free agent. They are having a hard time getting Kawhi in a trade...No way they are getting AD in a trade. AD is not even in his prime and is a top 3-5 player. Only team that can get AD in a trade is the Celtics.
