Terrible Tuesday card. I apologize to those who tailed. I hope you fellas had better plays than I have. Went 1-4 Tuesday, we'll get it back. We started the week on a 4-1 run and just gave it back. Anyway here's what I think on Wednesday. Again, thought are extremely appreciated! Hit me up! Lost half of the write up due to my crazy ass Internet provider. Be back before the games tonight here we go:
Atlanta Hawks -14 and OVER 198 What's wrong with the Hawks? They were crazy when they started and it's as if they've slowed down. Yep, was hella wrong thinking the Nets would easily turn things around the other night against the Bucks but they didn't actually bother to show up. Now they'll be playing against one of the league's best Home team who's pretty much struggling. Hawks are 11-5 ATS at home and is 3-2 ATS when set as a 10-point fave or more. Nets (5-12 ATS on the road) is 6-5 ATS when set as 10-point dog or more 4-4 ATS on the road. They are 3-5 ATS on back to back games and losses at an average of 13.125 points. Hawks has lost back to back the first time late in November losing at New Orleans then getting beat by Orlando in Atlanta the next day. Looking at this team, they've come back after losses and cover the spread after a defeat. When they are defeated by double digits they win the next game at an average of 17 points (defeated at Cats by 20 and bounced back to win by 25 against Denver in Atlanta, got destroyed by 17 by Orlando and bounced back to win by 14 against the 76ers, was crushed by 20 in Denver then pushed the Pacers back by 12). The over just went with the Atlanta bet with the perception that the Hawks will blow them out with the Nets at least scoring 80 points in this game.
Washington Wizards +13.5 @ Cleveland Cavaliers Following the same reasoning as with the Nets-Hawks game. Wizards has only been double digit dogs twice this season and they lost both at Cleveland (by 12) and at Phoenix (by 26). Cleveland is 3-10 ATS when set as a double digit fave 2-8 ATS at home. Its this type of game that you'd want to pass up on and find other games to wager on. The stats will just throw you off. Here are more stats. Cavs is like every other big named team in the league, they, most often than not, seem to not cover double digit lines then again they may be out for blood for two things. First is to get jump on the Wizard team who got them by 17 last 11/18/09 and wipe away that bad taste of defeat they receive from the Cats, who gave them their 3rd loss at home. Wizards are terrible off a back to back with a 2-6 ATS record. With the huge spread, they are very capable of covering that amount. My gut feel tells me to take the Wizards but I don't know. If you guys saw a better angle here post up!
Golden State Warriors +2.5 Oklahoma City Thunder -4.5 San Antonio Spurs -9 Phoenix Suns -5

Like the plays, Washington always seems to play Cleveland close....kind of wish they lost that last game though, they sure seem to come out flat after winning...
Just wanted to give you a big after reading your thread from yesterday. You had a bad day, but no complaining, no excuses, no pouting, just moved on to the new day. The rest of us, myself included, needed to learn from that example

another angle on the Cavs/Wiz game that i read in makaveli's writeup was that historically after losing at home, the cavs demolish their opponent...i dont have the numbers on this but it might be a decent trend to look at...also, seems almost too easy to take the points here with the wiz thats whats scaring me too...
