agree! letran covered just because they are the better team and san beda was just too lucky refs are in their favor but still didn't covered the spread. how the hell letran will win the game if sbc shot 6 straight fts coz of 2 crucial tech foul called on racal and coach alas. and koga of sbc was just too lucky hitting every shot he has taken.

Refs gave San Beda a shit load of free throws to stop Letran's momenteum. It's all about money, took Letran. Have a whole write-up about it on my post. Congrats to all Letran backers !! :)
Sucks for Kevin Alas though. Guy just works his ass off every game to get rigged by referees. Oh well, that's life.

IMO beda should have covered the game if it wasn't for that foul call for Kevin Alas, then Alamazan for the rebound, then Cruz hitting a jumper=3 points? It doesn't matter what the refs call in the middle of the game, what matter is what they call LATE in the closing minutes of the game. Just like MERALCO VS GLOBAL PORT (3rd quarter calls were for the BOLTS, the 4th was for GLOBAL, and who won?)

Letran will win this one but again it will be decided at the last minute of the game expect this to be a highly defensive game with Letran pulling out a victory in the end. But Game 3 you can bet your house on San Beda no matter what the odds is.

True, I guess that series of calls was just so blatant so it struck a chord.
