Portland can get blown out here and focus on closing them out at home in Game 6, that's the problem. They may not play 4 quarters.

Not saying they won't come to play but there is reason to be worried teasing the other way, despite all the games being very, very close in this series.

Nice write up.....

I already had Nets Teased with Clipps from yesterday....

Don't suggest teasing Houston...... they are goin down tonight. Portland is the better crew and they will deflate them for good tonight.

When even GeneCam teases the Nets, you know you should get the extra points!

People said the same thing about Houston in my last tease and they were more than fine, never going down big and spending most of the game up. They will win.

Of course the game is over but I would have been deathly afraid to tease the Clippers. They didn't even practice on Monday and looked worse than a D-League team in Game 4. Still it did hit.

Exactly. Houston knows it still has not won a single game in front of its fans on its own floor. That is incredibly motivating and not small potatoes in the least.

I see no value in 4' (4.5) Even tou every game seems to decided by 4 pts or less don't mean It will continue tonight.

I don't see Houston losing as well and will try to get a better line in game

Fantastic write-up on the nets. I could see them winning outright tonight. My local has it at 3.5. I bought it to 4. I'm not a tease kind of guy, but I don't see Houston finishing strong. Your logic with no game decided by less than 8 points, is the same logic for houston/portland. If you must tease why not take the 8+ points with a strong portland team? BOL

I agree the NFL is a much better league to tease.

But these are the playoffs in the NBA where every game matters.

There have been some incredibly exciting and close games where teasing is an excellent option, like it is here. Teasing throughout the season? No. Teasing close playoff games that go down to the wire? Yes.

Only because it's 3-1 and now the Rockets are win or go home. And they must do it decisively on their home floor.

If it was 2-2, yes, I'd be teasing the Blazers up. But not at 3-1. Since I have the ML as Ultra strong, teasing down makes much more sense here for me to get this to a 1 pt spread.

If I went SU with one of the two, if go HOU with the hook to -5 instead of the Nets here. Too much going on in the Nets game for me to back them at 3.5 which isn't much of a line at all.

Im absolutely in love with this teaser. I cant see brooklyn losing by more than 3-4 and houston will win at home. Before they lose the series in portland.

Rockets finding out what it takes to win in the playoffs in the NBA. It doesn't start with World B. Free, I mean James Harden being your go to guy. Seems like the refs have these games orchestrated to go down to the wire. I would be teasing the Blazers +9 and just go to bed. Doesn't seem like the Rockets "ole" defense will blow anyone out.

Great stuff as usual scal. I really like the spot on Houston anddef think the Nets will make it a tight game, but I'm pretty sure the raps still pull out a much neLucl home victory.

Also interesting thing on Houston is they seem to be playing much better basketball throughout the first 2 quarters and then seem to be disappearing when the nerves set in second half.

I can't help but feeling T Ross is gonna show up one of these games. Dwayne Caseys extended show of confidence in him must reap a reward sooner or later.
