As most Raptor fans know, Casey brought in a huge boulder (a real one) that sits right in the middle of the dressing room.

The new motto is pound the rock and everytime before a game they will hit the rock until it diminishes preaching defense and supposedly some "harder" fouls here and there to intimidate teams from coming inside.

Saying all that, they just don't have the TALENT to play defense well in the NBA.  They will put more effort in for Casey and the main focus will be to operate the offense fully around Andrea.

It is way too early in the season to see how they will perform under these new strategies BUT I will be on some unders later in the year.  For now, its a no play for me.

Also, I took the Raptors over 16.5 wins on the year .  It is a good bet.  They will win 18-20 games this year for sure.  This is a better team then last year and much better coached. 

BOL to all you under backers as you have a good chance but its too early for a game of the year just because they are preaching defense.  Preaching and Execution are two different things.

As long as they have Bargnani and Calderon playing, their defense will be suspect, not matter how much Casey preaches it.

They can't rebound either, which means easy points for the other team.

I am not looking forward to this season as a Raps fan.
