Just hope it helps them finish the season off at 62 or more wins.
6 units on cavs over 61 season wins
impressive work by the front office...they have done their job.......
or stern just fixing it for a cavs title...Celts Lakers got theirs recently, now Lebron get his--...then the bulls win next year
....this cycle continues, until Durant wins one in 2016

For many owners it's just about making money, and not about winning championships. For years the NFL New England Patriots, when owned by the Sullivans, were pathetic. Then one day Mr. Kraft took over, and it was night & day different. The same happend when the MLB BoSox ownership changed hands. The NHL Bruins don't spend money to win, and they don't have to as it's all about being profitble. And if they make a profit even if they're in last place, then the loyal fans can only make a statement by not supporting the team they love.
Of course there's always the exception, like the MLB Florida Marlins winning rings, so owners who don't open their wallets to lure the best talent always have that comeback.
Does it matter who the Clippers, Nets or Wizards have on their rosters? Teams/owners like these can put any 5 guys out there, and they'll still be in business. After Dallas unloaded a bunch of useless dead weight in Howard and Gooden, I didn't think we'd see a lopsided trade like that for a while. Sure didn't take long.
Cavs made out like bandits on this trade. Jamison is a player, and like the Bird's, and Magic's, and Air Jordan's who elevated the play of their teammates, Lebron will elevate Jamison's play. Now that he's with a contender, the Cavs are a much stronger force to be reckoned with no doubt, and I think Jamison's play will surpass his career best.
Cavs are still a year or 2 away from going all the way. They do have to jell together first. Lakers still have too much with Gasol, Odom & Artest on the boards, Fisher the clutch veteran, and Kobe can still neutralize LeBron. Not to mention the Phil Jackson factor.
Lebron like all the greats, who yes have a solid supporting cast, will eventually get a ring. And once he gets one, he'll probably get another. Cleveland is one of those good old American sports cities, that deserves a championship one of these seasons.
Lebron plays so hard every game, and it shows in the team winning all of these regualar season games. Come playoff time however, not even the King will have enough left in his tank to lead this year's team to the PromiseLand.

Forget even slightly overrated; If anything Lebron is underrated. Have you ever seen this man play? The guy like a week ago scored 35 in a half including 24 straight, including 4 3's in the final 1:55 of the 1st. Intercepted a pass by D. Wade with time running out in the game, to single handily win the game over Miami not too long ago. Etc. etc. etc.!
And I don't think Lebron who's making over 15 million U.S. dollars as a base salary, not including bonuses, endorsements, etc. as a kid right out of high school is thinking about excuses for you pal.

In last year's lost to the Orlando Magic LBJ averaged
38 pts 8 rebs and 8 assists
clearly that loss was not on him. It was on the team and maybe the GM to get better players around this soon to be all-time NBA great!
Now that players are coming around LBJ that can finish (Jammison, Shaq, Hickson, etc..etc..) it is now on the team.
But how can anyone "micro-analyze" and critque someone's game that is so all-around.....pts..rebs..assts...blocks shots..steals..."and a partidge in a pear tree".
Looks like danny ferry is doing his part...now the coach, the team and yes the leader (LBJ) has to produce.
But if they do not succeed it will not mean that LBJ is not a superstar.....I think if he was on Denver (where Melo is) or in LA (where Kobe is)...LBJ would already have a title. I don't know what's up with Melo....if he is a stud, and I think he is a stud, why can't he get that team to play better than what LBJ had this Cavs team playing prior to the acquisitions (Shaq, Parker, jammison, Hickson, etc..etc..)
LBJ is the man and will be the player of the next decade in the NBA and maybe the athlete of the decade for all sports.![]()
