Remember when Kobe "gave up" and Celts creamed Lakers for title?  Kinda saw same look in LJ lastnight.  he know he doesnt have the help and support.

yes... Cavs might get out to a hot start in the 1st quarter... but Celts will make a run just like the 2nd quarter of game 5, and by the middle of the 3rd quarter it will look like a replay of game 5...

    complete ass-whooping...

Series should already be over.  Game 1 was also dominated by Celtics.  LBJ will give it one last shot that's for sure, don't know if it will be enough.

gonna wait to see 1st half in that one before i get aboard.  its just too easy to call boston game and walk away.  cavs might actuallt pull up their jacks and that should be known by the end of the 1st imo

i'm sure Cleveland will come out much better than last game, and especially Lebron is going to come out swinging... but Boston put a stranglehold on this series last game... they lost homecourt when they got it early in the series, and then got a wake up call, and since then they have really dominated the last two games... i don't think they will make the same mistake...

taking your approach could be great, but i can see Boston having a 10 point halftime lead in this one... we'll see...

i remember that game 6 LAL @ BOS....
i had a bet on BOS to win the NBA crown that year and that is still my fav quarter of basketball.....

BOS went on the most ruthless rampage in the 6 mins before HT and strangled LAL .....and they never recovered.....

but i also remember earlier in the playoffs BOS were taken to game 7 by a very dogged CLE ( each of the games was won , and covered by the Home side...BOS had Home Court Adv ...and won 4-3 )

this current CLE side is deeper and more talented than the one BOS had to fight til the end with in 2007/08...and BOS are a very similar side to the 07/08 side...except Rondo is 2 years better...but the big 3 are all 2 years older....probably not as consistent.....but still  very capable...

i really wanted to bet CLE M/L in game 5,..but something told me to stay away....a nagging feeling that BOS may not roll over today.....
    so i didn't bet it.............am i glad i did
i was able to look at that game in a very unbiassed way......

as bad as CLE stunk today...... they can get motivated very quickly and play motivated for the whole game....

both sides have shown Home Court means shit in this series....they may as well be neutral venues....

Lebron James' game 5 effort has basically been reported as being the most heartless , soulless and spineless performance  by a franchise & NBA SUPERSTAR in a long , long time.....
hell of a time to play your career worst game......

i have to think a guy with Lebron's ability , upon reflecting on that game,  when he watches the tape , will be seething and be very embarassed by his performance......and how his comatose performance eventually infected the rest of the team......

BOS had a lot to do with it too.....

but i will take the cahnce that CLE pulls out a win in game 6......

but i think BOS will win game 7 if it eventuates

i think Stern's wet dream is always Kobe vs Lebron , but something tells me CLE won't find a way past ORL.....especially seeing they may not get through BOS.........perhaps BOS vs ORL may be a more formidable and competitive series than CLE vs ORL

just don't be surprised if this CLE @ BOS game has that game 6 SAC / LAL 2002 feel to it......where the 4th Q ,..CLE may get some help from the refs,..especially if we see Dick Bavetta assigned "randomly" to the game.

game 7 would be straight up..but you can bet your ass if there's going to be a badly officiated game ...it'll be game 6 ..and it'll primarily go the CAVS way...with alot Celtics getting in foul trouble...

but i will take the cahnce that CLE pulls out a win in game 6......

but i think BOS will win game 7 if it eventuates

i think Stern's wet dream is always Kobe vs Lebron , but something tells me CLE won't find a way past ORL.....especially seeing they may not get through BOS.........perhaps BOS vs ORL may be a more formidable and competitive series than CLE vs ORL

just don't be surprised if this CLE @ BOS game has that game 6 SAC / LAL 2002 feel to it......where the 4th Q ,..CLE may get some help from the refs,..especially if we see Dick Bavetta assigned "randomly" to the game.

game 7 would be straight up..but you can bet your ass if there's going to be a badly officiated game ...it'll be game 6 ..and it'll primarily go the CAVS way...with alot Celtics getting in foul trouble...

This crap about LeBron "not having the help" is pure BS. He has more talent on that team than Jordan ever did on his.

What helped was that he did not have a complete dunce for a coach.

boneheaded heartless talent does not come close to what Jordan had around him...

i will take guys like Craig Hodges, John Paxson, Bill Cartwright, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman over the gutless wonders on the Cavs any day of the week...

Agree with you Ice.  To say that the Cavs have similar talent than the Bulls is ridiculous.

If you guys think Jordan would not win it all with the guys on the present Cleveland team, you are welcome to your delusions....he made knuckleheads win.He imposed his will on them as well as on the opposition.

No one was scared of Craig Hodges, Dollar Bill Cartwright  or any of the other mediocrities MJ was surrounded by.

I've been saying the same thing all along.

Lets see here, CLE added Shaq and that was suppose to take them over the top in the East. Then they added Jamison, that was suppose to take them all the way. They are the odds on favorite the win it all this year. What happened? Coaching sucks, plain and simple.

Craig Hodges was one of the great 3 pt shooters of all time, and played the best ball of his career during those first 3 runs... Bill Cartwright was a 7 footer that could D up against the likes of Ewing, which was crucial in the Eastern Conference... those other mediocrities... Rodman was one of the top 5 rebounders the game has ever seen, and oh yea Scottie Pippen was voted to the 50 greatest players of all-time back in the 90s...

i struggled through years of pain watching Jordan try to win a title by himself... and people were always saying he would never win a title and blah blah blah... it wasn't until he got a surrounding cast that knew how to play together and complemented each other, and a sort of good coach, that Jordan finally got titles...

If you have said the Bulls had Phil Jackson and Cavs have Nothing Nothing at the coach position - I would understand but comparing Cavs to the Bulls. Every player there is a legend with Rings on their fingers won against NBA and Wiseguys together, not to mention the teams they were playing with guys like Prince Charles and Ewing being denied the ring because of their misfortune to play in  the era of Bulls.

Lets be honest with each other... Scottie Pippen was a nice player but nowhere near a top 50 player of all times back in the 90's. That shit was a joke!!
