jeopardy, believe me, its not the addiction to nicotine. I may be addicted to cigarettes, but its not for the "soothing" effects of nicotine. If I was addicted to the nicotine, i dont think I'd be able to go from pack a day to non-smoking days, with ease. Some days, I don't smoke any cigarettes. Why? Because I dont feel like going out and grabbing a pack. Or even if I have a carton chillin in the fridge, some days I just dont feel like having a cigarette, and am perfectly content stickin with the green stuff. heh.
Its the same reason why I've never attempted to quit using any type of product. If I want to take a break, i'll take a break and go a week without lighting up. Do I crave it...eh, as long as I have bud, its not a problem. I know its a completely mental issue, and i'll be damned if I spend 50 bucks on some gum or stickers. Nicotine gum...or an eighter...no brainer there.
I really should switch to additive free cigarettes though. An old college professor once told me that the tar in cigarettes isn't the cause of most lung damage. its the molasses and other additives used for flavor. His brother worked for some smoking committee in the UK and had passed on the word. Damn Marlboro #27's and their molasses! too tasty. and fragrant....and delicious....and sexy...must ...make...love...to..cigarette...now.... jK.
