m15525, wut do u think about o/u in DET game?????????
Under normal circumstances....2 tired teams usually = bad (or no) defense...
But since tonight's game the SIM has it coming in at 194, so the odds makers have made the adjustment (posting 198) and the value is gone. I will never play anything without built in value so the TOTAL here is a PASS.
If you are feeling compulsive, I might put a small amount on the WIZARDS in the FIRST HALF +4. (No less then 4)
They are at home tonight and will be honoring their recent owner Abe Polin tonight. Polin died a few weeks back and was a players favorite. The Wizards will wear a patch on their Jerseys from tonight forward to honor him as well.
The emotion may carry the Wizards to a win tonight, but I really like their chances a lot better in the first half. Emotion can win a game, but against a team like the Celtics it's better to not on a 24 minute effort.
Secret advantage: In these "memorial" type home games (for now and the future)... I find that it is difficult for officials to call fouls against the team and fans in "mourning."

Easy, man. Was trying to point out the recent dominance by Det might be nothing more than a reflection of the difference in talent, and that has reversed itself over the past year. But I'll not bother posting in your threads anymore...

No Will Bynum either for Detroit 2nite. Pistons are the worst team in basketball right now...no RIP, no Gordon, no Prince...Nuggets are easy money 2nite

People just have to realize that most reputable cappers are always going to look for value.. Unfortunately (OR NOT) that usually means taking the team that has less talent on paper.
In realty, the teams have a minor role in the wager, its the situation that is most important. That blended with history of the match-ups. When you get the perfect storm of situation (travel/look ahead game/etc..), good trending and contrarian value (from fading public opinion) ...that's when you get excellent oppertunity.
Its not pretty, but over time it works. Especially if you can get your hands on a reduced juice book and shop around for lines.
