Maybe not a complete random list....
All GNR, granted Lies and Appetite were late 80's, so I will stay w/ Use Ur Illusions....
Truly best MTV unplugged NIRVANA, nothing can probably ever compare
Anything Tupac did
Coolio had a good 1 or 2, especially spring break type songs (fantastic voyage, gangsta paradise)
Radiohead...Creep
Puff Daddy...I'll be missing you
Warren G...Regulators (truly classic song)
A little more random:
Ugly Kid Joe cover on Cats in the Cradle
How bout most Metallica?
Maybe Runaway Train by Soul Asylum, Weezer still has a couple playing like Sweater Song.
Ice-T a few from Body Count
All Pearl Jam, not hard to recognize the Vedder excellence...
Any Dr Dre Chronic, How bout Snoop Murder was the Case
I could go on for days/years, since my friends still think I live in the decade, actually I'm a late 60's/70's rekindled spirit

Can't remember who wrote Once Shy twice Bitten, tho I believe that's the band that had a bunch of people die in a fire in NE
Megadeth, Sweating Bullets...Too bad I didn't understand the lyrics back in the day
Soundgarden...Black Hole Death
Sonic Youth and Cypress Hill...I love you Mary Jane (smokers only)
Jane's Addiction...18 and a Life

Goddamnit, this thread has me listening to all this old shit
Not that any of it's bad, but my addictive personality makes me wanna hear it ALL again.....Glad I at least experienced the 80's-90's generations and not these 2000's, if I had my way I'd be tripping at Monterey back in '67, but thank god (or whatever imaginary figure) that I'm not stuck listening to Beiber or even most of lil wayne and the same eminem shit over and over!!!
