As far as PJ originals go, I like the slower stuff like better man for example. Evenflow is ok, anything harder than that I generally dont like.

That gremmie.net is a pearl jam gold mine. Awesome covers on there. I tried a couple who songs that didnt work (i cant explain, baba o'reilly) but was able to listen to i shall be released from dylan and redemption song from marley. Listening to Fortunate Son from CCR now. These are great versions. Ive heard the Masters of War cover a hundred times before, thats probably my favorite cover of all time, probably because its my favorite song by my favorite artist/band and eddie puts a lot of emotion into it and does a fantastic job. I actually have the video in my covers space if you havent seen it live. I'm going to have to spend some hours on this site. Thanks again.

Any idea where I can download Vedders Masters of War so I can burn it to a CD?

Went this year to the susquehanna bank center wasnt what i thought it would be went the 2nd day though heard the first day was amazing

Limewire is your best bet. My favorite version of Masters of War is right here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cibn3tAf8ls

It may be a pain to find that version on Limewire, but the show was from 1992 and at Bob Dylan's 30th anniversary oarty or some shit.

Thats the version I was talking about. I actually just found out my dad has the 30th anniversary cd so I borrowed it from him and will burn it in a few hours

The rumor is May, but I think it will be a little later than that. The gossip is that PJ have a handful of songs laid out and are close to going into the studio(which is where they were 6 months ago). I don't see them recording, mixing, producing, and distributing an entire album in three months, especially since they are self releasing the album with no help from a label. Some good news is that Brendan O'Brian is back with the group for the first album since Yield.

Either way, whenever they announce a release date, look in this thread a couple months before, and I'll have a link to the leaked album.

Heard a new one from them on the radio, don't remember the name and eddies lyrics aren't exactly the easiest to figure out but i did manage to catch this in the chorus, " ohhhhhhhhhhhh sister" lol

I think that may be BROTHER. It was made back in the TEN era, but never made it to ears outside of bootlegs. I heard that to celebrate the Ten reissue, Brother was gonna be played as a single. I'm not sure if it's the original, or if they remixed the song though. My favorite version by far you can find on gremmie.net under the ANYTHING IN BETWEEN tab. That was the original version from like 1992 back when Eddie's voice was insane.

Great song!

Here's a new PJ song. It was supposedly one of their last cuts off the new album's songlist. Called Santa Cruz and recently sent out as the delayed 2008 xmas single.
