Favorite Pink Floyd song

It's a pretty tough question, since every Floyd album has a completely different vibe to them.

I've been delving into even the way early Syd Barret stuff.

I certainly can't pin down a favorite song, but I'll say "Animals" is my fav album.

I like "One Slip" a lot.

I agree with dennis.........tough to nail down just one song.

But if I had to choose one that I had to listen to over & over............."Time" or "Comfortably numb". Love Gilmours work on both songs.

".......hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way" .............good stuff

I'll have to go with "Young Lust".

"Young Lust"  was in a top three songs to come to mind......I just can't extract songs from Floyd albums.

"Animals" is the best example. I rarely listen to one track, but almost always put it on only when I have alocated enough time to enjoy the whole album.

Might as well add Led Zeppelin to a select handful of awesome that each album IMO intricately unique in their own way.

Enjoy 76.........

"Animals" is a very underrated album, as is "Meddle".

Mugg, 70-Six, AJ, dog,

as I speak I'm listening to that live "Pulse" album on someone elses Pod through their computer.

I've heard a few live versions of Run Like Hell, but this one is the best.

Just ran the Delicate Sound Of Thunder version of R-L Hell through.

Tough call which one. Delicate's version stays closer to the harsher barking by Roger Waters as done in The Wall. My .02

Listening to Dogs right now. Still profess to not being able to separate any somg from Animals............

Sheep...............

Bahhhh Bahhhh

When Syd Barrett left Pink Floyd, he left his stash..............

I love the guitar at the end of this tune by David Gilmour.

I know that I'm the only awake at this hour (I'm p.s.t. time)...

I'm going to say

Sheep
Young Lust
One Slip
One Of My Turns
Run Like Hell
Dark Side   (whole album-I know...cop out)

70-Six  ,

I just went "Keys To Ascension" live "Yes" 1996. Original lineup. Strongly recommend it.

Dude, you either get Yes or you don't.

The most positive stuff there is.

Two fav bands......

Yes and Led Zeppelin.............

My tastes range far further, but I always come back................

Great Yes tunes............

Siberian Khatru
Revealing Science Of God
That, That Is
Onward

Homeworld
Nine Voices
Finally
To Be Alive(Hep Yadda) amazing tune

Starship Trooper, Seen All Good People, 90125, and all the ones in between...........

Childhood's End

I have to go with "Comfortably Numb".  That song just has a certain epic feel.

"Wish You Were Here" is right there as well.

But you could go on and on, they had dozens of songs that could easily be considered.
