"Hurt", by Johnny Cash for sure, but Rusty Cage by him also. But, being a huge Metallica fan, can't leave out Stone Cold Crazy !!!

Rage Against The Machine - "The Ghost Of Tom Joad" (Bruce Springsteen)
Cake - "I Will Survive" (Gloria Gaynor)
Fiona Apple - "Across The Universe" (The Beatles)
Metallica - "Turn The Page" (Bob Seger)
And here's one for you AJ: a brand new cover of "Desolation Row" by My Chemical Romance from the "Watchmen" soundtrack.

Thanks for the link hugh. Although I love all these different genres of music still trying to cover dylan, that was a little too hard for me. I love hearing different takes on dylan songs but that style of music just doesnt do it for me.

No problem AJ. Only having recently heard the original version, I found the MCR take on it a little jolting as well, but those are the kinds of covers I prefer anyways - reimagainations of the original. Just like the Rage cover of "The Ghost Of Tom Joad" - the same in name and lyrics only. And just so you know, the up tempo version of "Desolation Row" actually fits the end of "Watchmen" better than the original would have, although strange how they left "The Times They Are A-Changin' " alone... Best part of the movie in my opinion *sigh*, so check it out before it gets taken down! Thanks for the link hugh.
