IMO, it's just an attempt to make some cash. He's 41 and it shows. A song featuring Nate Ruess from the band Fun. Gimmie a break. Who's next? Pink.Three of the songs on the album are rap-overs from other artists songs. Berzerk is ok but that's b/c I like old skool rap.
Haven't paid for an album in years and don't plan on starting with Marshall Mathers LP 2.
There are a few good songs but to each their own.

Nate Ruess is incredible. And it was only fitting to use him in a follow up song to Cleaning out my Closet given his brother's name. Headlights is chilling but so deep. When I first heard that Nate was going to be on a song I figured it would be one of the poppy songs that gets released and hits the radio (like Monster with Rihanna), but I was so wrong.
And Rap God is insane. He did that live at the Youtube awards on Sunday and that was definitely impressive.

Have you listened to the album Ron? Serious question. I don't see how someone can say that if they actually listened to it because from a rapping technical POV, its his best effort in years IMO.
"He's just yelling now...not rapping"

Heard the whole album now. Was pumped up after hearing Legacy and Love Game so started thread... I agree, good, not great. He still has it, just doesn't use it like he should this long after.
