In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
‘Neath the halo of a streetlamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin' ship
My senses have been stripped, my hands can't feel to grip
My toes too numb to step, wait only for my boot heels
To be wanderin'
I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fade
Into my own parade, cast your dancing spell my way
I promise to go under it.

I seen The Flaming Lips live in concert play the entire Dark Side of the Moon album a few years back.
They were opening for Dave Matthews. My girlfriend and I were there for her friends birthday, not knowing the lips were there nor covering probably my favorite album of all time. It was tremendous. They even had a bunch of umpa lumpas running around handing out giant lollipops and a dozen or so Dorothy's mingling w/ the crowd.
I convinced my girl for us to leave right after the set was over. I did not want to hear a second of Dave Mathew's pip squeeking and moaning to ruin the vibe I just soaked in.
I never got to see Pink Floyd live, so this was the 2nd best thing next to that I could imagine.
Google "Flaming Side of the Moon Session" good stuff

Saw a show this morning ( The 70's Review ) that touched on the history of Clapton's cover of Bob Marley's " I Shot the Sheriff. " Very interesting stuff.

Ton of Led Zep covers when Jimmy Page toured with Black Crowes (I think Live At The Greek was the CD)........anything with Mr. Page sounds good to me.....
Whiter Shade of Pale-HSAS with Sammy and Neil Schon
