lol........... i just watched every episode over the past 2.5 months.........this past episode was the only one ive had to wait for, cant imagine having to wait in between seasons on those season finale cliffhangers.
i got used to grabbin some food and watching a lost.........i hate that i cant just click on the next one now.....i gotta wait.
I also want to watch them all again from the 1st episode........... i think we'll see some stuff we didnt understand the first time around.

trust me, i have been watching since the beginning and the cliffhangers have been absolutely brutal. having re-watched from season 1 after every season you do pick up on things you missed. its awesome

The fake mother was looking for her replacement, was elated when Claudia had a boy, and then had another. She loved MIB more due to his being able to lie, as opposed to Jacob, amongst other traits and considered him special.
She had a brilliant plan to cause MIB to leave her, grow up, become filled with anger, and ultimately to end her eternal pain. Her taking over Claudia's body two times and revealing the truth to MIB was telling of how much she loathed her role on the island. Great episode but did leave more questions for us.

I am still a bit confused as to what the "light" is exactly and how its powers are utilized if you cannot go into it without being turned to the black smoke apparently. Also I thought Jacob and MIB's fake mother said she made it so they could not hurt each other? Yet Jacob kicked the shit out of MIB and killed him by throwing him into the "light" where he hit his head and died. Another thing I did not understand is the fake mother said to Jacob when the "light" goes out on the island it goes out everywhere killing everything. Well when MIB was tossed into the "light" the "light" went out and turned him into the smoke monster but clearly life continued everywhere. So is the MIB embodying the "light" and that is why he cannot leave because if he does the "light" will be destroyed therefore ending everything?

Just want to remind everybody to set their dvr's for the extra time during the finale. the finale will be 30 mins longer. A 2.5 hour finale is going to be sick. And then after the finale, Jimmy Kimmel is having the entire cast on for a LOST special where i am told they are going to show a couple alternate endings so that should be cool

This week is going to be great. We get an episode tonight and then we only have to wait until Sunday to get the final 2.5 hours. I am pretty sure they are showing like an hour series or season recap prior to the finale on Sunday. Sounds like a day of Lost to me.

what a great set up for the finale. i really can't believe this show is going to be over on sunday. the little pow wow with jacob around the campfire might have been my favorite scene of the season. it was amazing. i think we all knew that jack would take over but it was cool to see him get initiated into the the fraternity of island protectors. i assume he is all powerful now right?
poor richard. what a way to go. he was such a crucial part of this series and it was sad to see him go out like that. he is happy though and thats what matters. Ben seems to be back to his old ways. did seeing widmore really spark all this anger that he is now buddy buddy with MIB? i don't think he wants the island to be destroyed and we might see a jack/ben combo in the end
i had a feeling MIB's real objective was to completely destroy and he somehow needs desmond to accomplish that. i am thinking that if he throws desmond down the tunnel of light the island might explode but then how would he leave?
speaking of desmond, we are obvious going to get one final reunion at the concert tonight and i am not really sure how that is going to play out. any thoughts?
either way, i have absolutely no idea how this thing is going to end and i can't wait to see.

I was under the impression that Richard was immortal. Are you sure he's dead?.....I was flicking back and forth to the Celtic game.......missed some of the campfire scene but I saw Kate ask about the list of names at the lighthouse....Does the list mean that Kate Sawyer and Hurley are destined to die too?

i assume all these years that jacob wouldn't let richard die. but now, i don't think richard is priority number for jacob and he could care less whether he lives or die. he has no use for him anymore. plus, if anybody can kill him, it would defiantly be MIB.
When Kate asked why her name was crossed off, Jacob said that it is just writing on a wall and it doesn't mean anything. He could be lying but i don't think he is so hopefully Kate bites the big one next week.
