nope wont happen 08 was a good step for them even though they missed the playoffs, building from the minor league and up not giving away draft picks to sign big name free agents which is the reason there in the mess there in right now of not winning a championship in yrs. every great franchise has there moments when there down yankee ownership doesnt ever want to accept those moments, they rather BUY ALL THE BEST PLAYERS MONEY CAN BUY

come on now , how many of these guys are good off the top of my head i can say MO, JORGE, JETER, ANDY, CANO, JOBA ill give you that. who else makes an impact on this team. hughes i left out he hasnt done anything so far in the playoffs, i think hes a good number 3 starter. so about 6 impact home grown yankee players

Melky hit over .320 in the ALCS.

Gardner is always a threat on the bench for a late inning pinch running spot.

But 8 players are a pretty big deal. Sure...they buy players...but to produce talent such as the aforementioned players and have as much money as you can dish out to anyone is great.

Yankees got shown up in primetime. If Pedro pitches good tonight, Series will be over in 4 to 5 games. Phillies have home-field advantage, i.e., they are 11-1 at home in playoffs since 2008. Also, Phillies are owning Sabathia. I hope that he pitches again in Game 4, please let him.

Big game for the Yankees tonite.If they get beat the series is over 4 or 5 games.Lets see what happens tonite.Like the Phils chances with Burnett on the mound and ifs a slugfest I prefer our bats over the Yankees.
